Cheeky bastards were selling handbags from my account, or rather taking money for non-existent bags and racking up paypal fees under my name. Just email customer services pronto and they'll sort it pretty quickly.

they've been pretty good - reset my account, contacted everyone who's got a message from 'me'

also - I think they have a thing where they check the IP address of the machine you're accessing your account from

and they were fucking stupid anyway because someone sent a response to their request and it popped up in my gmail so I jumped right on it and changed all my details.

like I say - it just makes me wonder about the security of my passwords (I have like 6 that I use for pretty much everything)...
