I didn't realise how cool they were untill my friend persuaded me to get one with him.
He, being a more talented artist than I, has fully painted his to be awesome.

I think you have several nephews
And that they'd each like the different kinds
I also think I'm your nephew and that you should get one of those HMG ones for me.

Ooh, fancy.
Nerf guns are great fun.
Edit: What sorta paint did you use? Are they still usable without the mechanism scraping it all off?

PAintinging
They were disassembled, all the logos filed off (i took pics of the workings so I knew how to put them back together) Then based in spray acrylic, followed by a lot of drybrushing.. and then the detail work followed.

I love you.
I have the top left one, I've meant to do something like this, but lack the appropraite skills/effort.
I have modified it to shoot an extra 6ft or so however :)

It involves taking it apart muchly
There's some air-flow restrictors in the revolving bit or something all you do is take them out.
Also: there's some bits restricting the magazine from come out 90* which you can chop off.
Hold on I'll find some links

Good call.
The top one reminds me of the guns they used in Red Dwarf a bit....
