Are you a purest for the source material
or did it offend you for other reasons?

it didn't offend me, because it isn't a direct translation of the original source material
but it didn't live up to the generated hype about it,
a lot more style over substance, and the style wasn't all that great either.
/humble opinion on the internets only mind you

The dialogue is so dull isn't it?
You spend the whole time not listening to what they're actually saying, just trying to identify the voices.
"That's Babs Windsor isn't it? What's she doing in this piece of shit film?"

"That's Babs Windsor isn't it? What's she doing in this piece of shit film?"
the visuals were initally great, a real spectacle
but the novelty wore off after a short while, and then I tried to settle into the story/script etc, but it didn't 'gel' for me. but hey ho, can't please all people.
But... The dancing...

But... The dancing...
It's meh
If you put your fingers in your ears it would be one of the most beautiful films evah. But Alice is excruciatingly poor and the script is... average at best, and there's breakdancing >.<

The subjects of Wonderland refer to it as "Fotterwacking"
I refer to it as "Oh fuck, he's doing it again! Somebody stop him!"

you'll probably love it though, so don;t go in with pre-conceived ideas from us old grumpies
as Toasty said up there, it's a very 'Marmite' film, probably one of the biggest Marmite movies of the last few years (along with Avatar, of course)

Dirty Dancing is now just plain Dirty, and Costner's 2nd best film is ...With Wolves

I would watch a film called "With Wolves" in a heart beat
I imagine everyone would just end all their lines "...with wolves".
