From the washington post online:
Here's a vignette we're dying to see on the ABC broadcast of Sunday's Ford's Theatre Presidential Gala: When Stevie Wonder sat down at the keyboard center stage, President Bush in the front row got very excited. He smiled and started waving at Wonder, who understandably did not respond. After a moment Bush realized his mistake and slowly dropped the errant hand back to his lap. "I know I shouldn't have," a witness told us yesterday, "but I started laughing."

If i was a character from 'Buffy the vampire slayer' I'd be:

You're Spike. An English badass.
At least you were until they put that stupid chip in your head.
And then you fell in love with the slayer...
Snap out of it, man!
Find your inner vampire.

An American woman has been charged with murder after hitting a man with her car and then leaving him to bleed to death, stuck in her windscreen.
Chante Mallard, from Fort Worth in Texas, drove home with the man's broken legs hanging over the bonnet and his head and torso through the glass. She then locked the car, with the victim still suspended, in her garage for several days.
Miss Mallard told police that she ignored his repeated pleas for help - but she said she did apologise to him on several occasions.

remember This link about the mysterious absence of a 'plane in the Pentagon crash?
Well, this morning the US have released 5 pics of the impact. They'll probably be on www.news.bbc.co.uk within a couple of hours.

worth looking at then;
Ananova Story 1 - Furtive
and
Ananova Story 2 - Pentagon
And with regards this - I saw these this morning on TV and the question still stands - where the the plane? It's certainly not in the pictures (the tail would have been on the far RHS of the image on the first one)
