Piebash II: The Klumps

Following the indigestion inducing bash last year, Piebash II: The Klumps will offer the same pastry based goodness.

It's simple. Bake a pie (sweet or savoury), bring it to the bash. Then all the pies are eaten by a house full of gluttonous, hairy-palmed internet weirdos. With alcohol.

Some of last years popular choices included MNS's breakfast pie, Blue Star's lime pie and Limey's treacle tart. Also, my chilli pork pie went down well.

Bonus marks went to Manolith, who was the only person to sample every single pie on offer. A true hero amongst fat men.

Anyone bringing a Hannah Montana birthday cake will be slapped about the face.

I'm in for this

It was awesome last year. Who will be bringing the permanent markers to write on Jack Action when he passes out then?

/edit - If it's just me can I please have crash space? If Gerry isn't in Cornwall that weekend we'll get a hotel room instead.

I think you should bring more pies this year,

the 17 you baked last time wasn't quite enough. Mmmm, apple pie...

I'm planning on creating another special pie this year.

But shush! The ingredients are top secret!

(, Mon 26 Jul 2010, 22:06, Reply)
I think I might try a special pie this year too.

I've got the inklings of an idea about one, not sure how to pull it off though.

(, Tue 27 Jul 2010, 18:00, Reply)
I'm in!

if you'll let me, that is. I'll bring a pie made of beefy Guinness, or if someone's already done that I'll be more inventive.
could I also request crashspace?

(, Mon 26 Jul 2010, 23:26, Reply)
Just bring whatever pie

last time there were duplicate pies, nobody seemed to mind.

My advice is just don't bring a dessert pie, as everyone's a fat fuck and will stuff their face on main course pie and leave no room for dessert pie.

I've told our kid about this

(the sociable one, not the alcoholic one) and he said he might pop along with pies, obviously.

(, Mon 16 Aug 2010, 13:39, Reply)
Can I still come along without pie?

That's the day we get back from honeymoon and I doubt I'll have time to make a pie...

(, Wed 13 Oct 2010, 17:12, Reply)
One or both of us will be there, bringing pie (and diet pie).

We will stay at that ABC place as it was cheap and fairly cheerful.

(, Tue 19 Oct 2010, 14:20, Reply)
Speaking of the bash...

Is there any chance of crash space?

Since I'm 1/2 the size I was last year, I'm not in need of a huge amount of space.

(, Thu 21 Oct 2010, 8:40, Reply)
I'm signed up especially to ruin your bash again.
