This is a normal post Pork & tomato from ASDA.
Childhood memories of getting these from the Co-Op in Mablethorpe whilst on holiday at the seaside.

Pork and apple too. Or thin skinless Irish recipe done in the oven to get the surface crispy.

Though I also like the low-fat Cumberland ones, slit open whilst half cooked, the inside smeared with a mix of ketchup and sweet chilli dip, then seared face-down to finish. Inna bun.

And I have some in the fridge to do tonight. Nom nom nom.

I make one with onions slow cooked in butter for an hour untill they almost start falling apart, add flour then beef stock.

This is a normal post With sausages, I tend use beef gravy
normally, but onion gravy is probably better.

This is a normal post I do a variation of one I got from that mockney twat Oliver:
Slow-fry crushed garlic in butter and olive oil for about five mins to get the flavour out. Fish out the garlic and dispose, then slowly fry red onion in the garlic oil for at least 20 mins. Add balsamic vinegar and reduce by half. Add vegetable stock. Simmer until thickened.

This is a normal post I used to work in a butchers and can confirm most sausages are guff*
*with added testicles, gristle, ligaments, connective tissue, wood pulp, eyelids and lips....

Basically look at a butcher's selection and what you don't see is in the sausages.
Still yummy though.

This is a normal post I perfected my signature dish - 'Sausage Trifle' - many years ago.
It's essentially bangers-n-mash with onions & gravy tarted up a bit and served in a giant glass bowl.
