And actually, I have rarely ever flipped my shit over a GC, and I've actually defended genuine new users in the past who get picked on... even ones who post a link to a youtube video of theirs as their first post without acknowledging replies. I've often used the "weebl" defense in those cases (weebl of weebl and bob fame posts his videos here and never replies to comments, but nobody bats an eyelid, and why should they). Anyway...
