might be handy at the top of the list as well as/rather than the bottom, so you don't have to scroll all the way through the million gazzes baldmonkey just sent you.

How about...
...a system for upvoting and downvoting a la reddit? Also, notification when someone responds to a thread you created/participated in?

It might be more hassle than it's worth, if it's even feasible,
but sticky threads? That way if there are any important news items everyone will be able to see them.

I'd like
to have a "(or see the popular posts)" link like there is on the image challenge.
That way I could read the two or three amusing post hidden in amongst the rest of the total shite.
It would also put paid to some extent the tedious cockjockies who post for the sole 'achievement' of being first.

The links board says "Please remember that this is not the place to slag off other members' work."
Please add a board for slagging off other members work. Slagging off other members work makes me feel big.

Hello the lovely cr3. I have a modest proposal:
When I 'Ignore' someone, for instance baldmonkey, all the replies, which are sometimes amusing, are hidden. Instead I suggest that the ignored posts are replaced by a suitable message, say 'Post by xxxxxxx ', so that the replies are still visible. The 'Post by ' text could be replaceable with user supplied custom text so the entries would read 'Post by beakering retard baldmonkey' for instance.
Thanks for your attention, lots of love, lion-cake.

Mobile browsing
Dear B3ta,
For some reason, when I browse QOTW on t'blackberry, the page 'latest', renders too small, requiring zooming and then sideways scrolling. Any of the numbered pages render fine. I thought I was going mad, trying to work out why sometimes it fit and sometimes it didn't!

Merchandise made by b3tans - some way of finding it all
I'm sure this is mustaphaglasscock but I searched & didn't find.
There are loads of b3tans who sell stuff - from t-shirts and posters to body parts*, it'd be cool if there was some way to see what's being pimped by b3tans in one place, even if it's just a page of links (although a proper B3ta gift shop would rock).
Would make finding cool stuff easier, and put pennies in deserving pockets.
*= Probably

A notification thingy,
so you can tell some one has posted a reply when you on another board. It is awful going through the QOTW to find replies when you are not on there much, never mind if you are a regular. If we knew that people had replied, they may use the feature more. Maybe?

I think b3ta is just about perfect
but if i were to make a change, I would say that we should be able to change our profiles, and put in profile pictures of ourselves, and make a function that allows show off how many friends we have, and we can look at each others profiles and there are 'groups' where you can share thoughts with like-minded people, and we should be able to write comments on everyone elses profile.

Search for posts only containing links
Useful only on /links really, but searching for keywords brings up loads of text only posts; would be really useful to just query the title\message for href or similar when searching, to only return posts that contain a link

A 'save for later' button for links.
Many a time I have pressed 'I like this' to watch something later when I have more time/stopped masturbating. Only to find said link a bit meh!
A 'save for later' would eliminate this
Whadya think?

I've asked this before but pleeeeease can there be an option to not embed YouTube videos.
I know it opens things up to people just spamming their YT accounts ('cos that doesn't happen anyway), but sometimes the embedded frame can really ruin an element of surprise in a clip, as in:

preview and HTML
If you can scrub all but the allowed HTML from posts, why can't you do it for the previews on the board posts too?
That way I'd know that I was wasting my time adding it.
Also, why not bring the links (and QOTW) preview into line with the main board preview?

Tagging posts
Sometimes one (a.k.a me) wishes to find back some pic posted. The thing is the only thing being searchable is the text, you can't really have a succesful search.
I guess that if the poster could enter a few key words as he's posting (for example : horse, poop, elevator, jeremy) in a specific field (so it is not automically displayed, wich may ruin the joke and the lolz), the search may be more productive.

Main Board RSS Feed is broken.
Currently this post is borking the feed because it's called "Reality < Badly Drawn Giraffe".

Creative Commons Non-Commercial licencing
Dear Rob and assorted b3tans,
It's quite common it seems for various entities (The Sun, Mail etc) to pilfer our hummus for commercial uses and for b3ta and the artist to not get any credit for it. I'd like to see all posts on b3ta covered by a blanket Creative Commons licence (which has a default Attribution clause) and a checkbox ON by default for the "non-commercial" clause.
It would probably also help for a b3ta.com watermark to be added automatically to each picture at display time to help with the attribution. Although we don't have an extensive legal team to pursue breaches of the copyright, I expect that media organisations would not be too keen to be seen in flagrant breach of copyright.
Sincerely.
l'otter.
