You!!
Yes, you!
Are you popular and well mannered IRL or are you the empty, socially inept shell you portray on here?
Is your judgeMENTAL B3ta persona a cover up for your lack of acceptance, or are you generally a cunt?
Obviously, I'm immediately likeable, well mannered and tolerated by the masses, both online and off.

Alt. Best news stories of 2013

Altalt. Create a new B3ta cocktail for the festive season. name it after a member.

Or, you know, just argue among yourselves.

Hello dear B3TANs, I know we're all on the glidepath down to Xmas but I have a serious question
I have had in the last weeks, several companies recontact me after I've quoted them for equipment months ago, telling me they've 'got the go-ahead' and 'can we supply before Xmas'. In fact, 'no need to actually supply, just make sure we have an invoice before then'.
My question is, why? In large corporations do the Xmas money goblins steal the cash if you haven't spent it by a certain date? Does it evaporate from the corporate account on 25th Dec? I realise there are budgets etc but where do they think the money will escape to? If there are any B3TANs with accountancy knowledge - please enlighten me.

However, shit off with all the stupidity below. Nobody appears to be 'winning'.

Well, this is doing nothing to shave time off my work day.
What would you do to make OT the thriving epicentre of B3ta it once was?
Could you try harder?
Do you want to talk about it?

Alt. People are already talking about our works do on Saturday, with talks of going clubbing after. Personally I'd rather club myself over the head with a blunt object, but who knows what will happen with a skin full of champagne.
How long did/will your office shenanigans last?

AltAlt. What's on your main plate for Chrimblemasspoppypoos dinner?
This year it's beef with all the trimmings, including chipolatas in cherrywood smoked bacon, pan friend sprouts with pancetta and stuffing.
(, Mon 16 Dec 2013, 17:45, 298 replies, latest was 11 years ago)
Fine! I will do it then.
So xmas etc etc, er, so, yeah, we have done all the usual ballsack, however have you bought anything good for other people that you are particularly pleased with?
Alt: I made a cake yesterday with my littlest niece and nephew, they couldn't decide if they wanted jam or lemon curd in it so we did half and half, so, I dunno, talk about cakes or weird combinations or something.
Altalt: I've got 99 problems but a bitch ain't one, tell us you woes, moans, problems and maybe we can help. Or not. Whatever.

Tis the Season.
I dropped my pass on Friday after work and some lovely girl ran after me for ages to give it back. I had my headphones in so she had no chance of me hearing her. Quite fit too. What a waste.
What's the last act of human kindness you have witnessed?

Alt. What's the last thing to make you do a sad?
I got an email from the local Toby Carvery and they are open on Christmas Day :(
AND they are charging fifty sheets? Like you would ever.

AltAlt. Nah, soz. Too early.

Morning ladies.
Apparently Booky Wooky Two, Cinderella and Jack and the Beanstalk are all banned books in Guantanamo Bay. What would you ban and why?
Alt, if you get a book for Crimbo what would you like dear?
Edit, when I Say what would you ban, I don't mean what book, but what would you ban in general from anywhere.

It's Sunday evening, the working week stretches out ahead like a dank, black pool of despair so....
...How are you, dear B3TANs spending your Sunday evening?
I'm just about to have curry, rice and wine. I have tomorrow off so the wine is not a problem.

I find a ginger cunt makes me think of mexican cheese
I'm not averse to the flamecrotch, MYGOD!, just the opposite, but I have a pavlovan reaction to the cards I'm dealt.

Are you not happy with the cards you've been dealt? Stick or twist?

Alt: Which b3tan would you choose to play you in the story of your life?

Altalt: Do you own a candelabra? Can I have a lend of it?

Bugger, last week's QotW, I could've done...
With some possible pearoast-age...

Peter Macann (from Tomorrow's World/Virgin Atlantic Challenger, favourite presenter after Michael Rodd)
Showed him how to use a PC, was a little disappointed that he didn't know as much about computers as you'd expect from a Tomorrow's World presenter. His wife made a cottage pie for dinner - which was nice.

(Sir) Bob Geldof
Three times in one week - I could've sworn he was following me around - twice in London, once in PARIS. Waiting in the Gare du Nord Eurostar terminal for the first train. It freaked me out. *Sat behind me on the train* Feck off, stalker!

I stood on David Cronenberg's foot at the premier of the Clive Barker film he was in. (Nightbreed, cheap tickets on the night!)
Almost stood on Mike McShane's foot in the old Forbidden Planet. (Yes kids, I know you don't know who he is)
Brushed my arse against the supposedly beautiful Liv Tyler (I've seen better Elves) trying to get passed her table to get coffee. Didn't know.
Stood next to Kelly Brook in the newsagents, all the time the chap behind the counter was giving me the "Blimey look at her" type expression... I was oblivious.

Jumped when Dave Allen came through the changing room door of the gym, had to explain to him that it wasn't "just" because it was him, but that my reaction was mainly because my stepdad looked a lot like him, so my brain was wondering why my stepdad had travelled 220 miles to see me *at the gym*.

Same gym (not a member now), had to ask Nigel Plainer to move so that I could get to my locker. Yes, it's very showbiz-dull.
Katie Puckrick on the running machine next to me. Very difficult to concentrate as I had a real thing for her when she was on The Word.
Brian Eno, Paxo, Raph Fiennes, Pete Burns (Yikes!), er, there are more.

Nudged Robbie Williams awake. Went to work early one morning, half seven-ish and he was asleep on the bench outside Starbucks. (Not there now, possibly because people kept sleeping on it) Thought it was best he went home - just down the road at the time - he was very, very drunk.

The best one? I saw the top 3cms of Woody Allen's head when he was filming near work.

No more work 'till the 6th Jan!
And that's if I can be arsed to go back.

Beat that Internet.
