Hello dear B3TANs, I know we're all on the glidepath down to Xmas but I have a serious questionI have had in the last weeks, several companies recontact me after I've quoted them for equipment months ago, telling me they've 'got the go-ahead' and 'can we supply before Xmas'. In fact, 'no need to actually supply, just make sure we have an invoice before then'.
My question is, why? In large corporations do the Xmas money goblins steal the cash if you haven't spent it by a certain date? Does it evaporate from the corporate account on 25th Dec? I realise there are budgets etc but where do they think the money will escape to? If there are any B3TANs with accountancy knowledge - please enlighten me.
