I went to our wedding photographer's house and acted as IT support
and then did her fucking job for her by personally creating my wedding album.

But fuck it, it's finished now and we went for greek for tea and I had the mixed grill and a big beer and i've just eaten a load of mini eggs too and I feel sick and I'm about to watch Anchorman on DVD.

Does anyone know any good places to stay in Berlin?

my brother's having his stag do there, i'll ask him where they are staying
i've never been to berlin but everyone RAVES about it.

I'm going to fucking RAVE all the time when I get there
there will be a permanent heavy bass drum beat going at 160BPM through my brain the entire time with some awful synths banging out a terrible tune while a totally mashed up GEEZER shouts nonsensical rhymes over the top.

It will be just like being Monty.

you're married
you'll spend your time choosing a nice hotel and going to see sensible things and eating nice meals.

Yeah, this is actually spot fucking on.
I'm really looking forward to it. I'm hoping to go to the zoo.

we went to a street party
and there were rubber ducks in the river and then on the way back we followed a crowd of people and there was a bird man contest and some Japanese woman who spoke no english managed to speak just enough to commiserate us on teh loss of princess Diana

I stayed in a nice hostel there, once
but it was 14 years ago, so not that much help

If you stay at the Berlin Youth Hostel, you'd get your money's worth.
It's fairly central, the staff are ace, there's wifi, food, tours and comfy-ish beds.

I've been to Berlin a few times but I've only stayed in one hotel there
it's called Hotel Pension Galerie (http://www.hotel-pension-galerie.de/html/home.html) and it's really close to Checkpoint Charlie. It was clean, fairly cheap, run by a nice lady called Angelika, and in the hall outside the rooms there were fridges stocked with a range of nice beers which you could help yourself to and pay for later on an honour system.
