Since we DON'T TALK ABOUT DELETION, let's talk about something else.
You start.
Or not.
*dies of boredom*

I thought I was going mental then
who did what and why?

The important question right now is: what shall I have for my dinner?
(, Fri 22 Apr 2011, 18:26, Reply)
I don't know. I'm going to blame RSwipe though.
You should have BANGERS AND MASH.

Only because it's fun to say, and I don't know what bangers are.
(, Fri 22 Apr 2011, 18:28, Reply)
sausages
and slang in some parts for breasts
(, Fri 22 Apr 2011, 18:28, Reply)
fun!

(, Fri 22 Apr 2011, 18:29, Reply)
You go, Girl!
Listen to your Auntie Gok and GET THOSE BANGERS OUT!
(, Fri 22 Apr 2011, 18:32, Reply)
What Amberl says
I don't much fancy sausages tbh. I may have pizza. Or just cheesecake.
(, Fri 22 Apr 2011, 18:31, Reply)
I think the situation calls for ice cream and chocolate
Then again, I think most situations call for that.
(, Fri 22 Apr 2011, 18:33, Reply)
That is pretty much all I have had to eat today
A kitkat chunky and a caramel magnum. I am craving something that involves cheese...
(, Fri 22 Apr 2011, 18:34, Reply)
Chocolate, ice cram and cheese
All the food groups.

I miss cheese. I used to like Emmenthal.
(, Fri 22 Apr 2011, 18:35, Reply)
Why can't you have cheese?

(, Fri 22 Apr 2011, 18:36, Reply)
Lactose is not my friend : (
I've discovered the joys of Lactofree milk and Alpro Soya yoghurt, but I can't find a nice mild cheese I like.
(, Fri 22 Apr 2011, 18:38, Reply)
But there is very very little lactose in cheese, I thought?
I can't tolerate milk but weirdly I can eat all other dairy as long as I don't eat a fuckton of it.
(, Fri 22 Apr 2011, 18:41, Reply)
My insides have become very picky over the last year
Lactose, MSG, sugar.

Ugh.
(, Fri 22 Apr 2011, 18:46, Reply)

(, Fri 22 Apr 2011, 18:34, Reply)

(, Fri 22 Apr 2011, 19:32, Reply)
I made....
- Veal Escolop (ok, Marks made it, I just fried it)
- Tesco's Finest Cherry Tomarto Sauce + some chopped chilli + Some red wine + some chopped garlic, reduced down
- Some pasta

You would be _soo_ better off moving to london.

(, Fri 22 Apr 2011, 18:55, Reply)
I'm alright, I have a ton of wine at home, swing by and we'll have a tasting!

(, Fri 22 Apr 2011, 19:06, Reply)
sounds good to me

(, Fri 22 Apr 2011, 19:37, Reply)
I did fucking cooking today!
This is completely unlike me, and I am so chuffin' proud of myself.

I tried to recreate a traditional German dish I used to love when I lived out there, and to my utter amazement, I didn't actually make a bad fist of it. Not quite as good as the restaurant version, but that's hardly surprising.

My main achievement was the potato salad, which I made from scratch. Not a normal potato-and-mayonnaise type of salad, but a south German variety made with vinegar and mustard.

*prouds*

It's boring here when everyone's out enjoying themselves, isn't it?
(, Fri 22 Apr 2011, 18:30, Reply)
mayo vinegar and mustard?
yes, quite dull when no one is about
(, Fri 22 Apr 2011, 18:36, Reply)
No, no
Vinegar, oil, mustard, pepper, vegetable stock, soft peeled potatoes. You're supposed to add onions as well, but I didn't have any.

My whole life is boring. I really need to get out more.
(, Fri 22 Apr 2011, 18:40, Reply)
ours is mayo, vinegar, mustard, salt, pepper, celery seed
i fail at potato salad though
i'm a fucking pro at macaroni salad
(, Fri 22 Apr 2011, 19:05, Reply)
Oh yum !
One of my old flatmates made potato salad pretty much just like that, and mixed in the sauce while it was still warm, it was soo lush.

Another nice things he made was gwakimoli with bacon and mayo, to put in potato jacket.

Fred and Ginger?
If you don't pick something soon, they'll end up staying with the names they've got now.

That's how my mother-in-law ended up with an aged alsation called puppy.
(, Fri 22 Apr 2011, 19:32, Reply)
I know!
this is what I fear. I'll definitely have names for them by Sunday
(, Fri 22 Apr 2011, 19:39, Reply)

(, Fri 22 Apr 2011, 19:19, Reply)

I'm not grumpy, though, which makes a change
(, Fri 22 Apr 2011, 19:19, Reply)

texted my brother about maybe going for a few beers later and got texted back "we're in the pub NOW".

So I've had 4 pints already. Time to open up a bottle of wine and get "swiped", as we've taken to calling it.

two uses. Now it's a proper term
(, Fri 22 Apr 2011, 19:15, Reply)
