DEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAD THREEEEEEEEEAAAD
I made sweet chilli jam yesterday. It's utterly brilliant. What've you made?
(, Wed 8 Jun 2011, 16:51, 123 replies, latest was 15 years ago)
A fool of myself.

Any particular instance or just in general?

Just in general,
that's the most consistent thing I've made for quite some time.
(, Wed 8 Jun 2011, 16:54, Reply)
I do it considerably less often now I don't get pissed any more.

I wish I could say I was surprised by this statement.
I reckon I'm losing my marbles actually, I've almost walked into lampposts twice this week.

I made the decision not to go to the gym and to go home and dye my hair instead.

I hope you aren't currently 'Battleship Blousie'

(, Wed 8 Jun 2011, 17:10, Reply)
Just a little grey at the temples which with careful upkeep is kept at bay.

(, Wed 8 Jun 2011, 17:11, Reply)
I saw a pal I'd not seen for a couple of years the other day.
He couldn't believe how grey I've gone.
(, Wed 8 Jun 2011, 17:30, Reply)
I wouldn't have bothered dyeing it if I'd kept it short.
It looked cool. Long hair however, unless nice and thick looks meh when grey.

How can you even admit to knowing about this shit?
Have you no discretion?
(, Wed 8 Jun 2011, 17:30, Reply)
I believe we've established that I know an enormous amount of useless shite
It became slightly less worthy of mockery circa December 2nd
(, Wed 8 Jun 2011, 17:33, Reply)
I used to know them.
Tedious namedrop but as ever the truth. They went off to Japan and made a FORTUNE.
(, Wed 8 Jun 2011, 17:30, Reply)
I remember a Smash Hits caption under a picture of them
It read 'Shampoo: pigs in knickers'
(, Wed 8 Jun 2011, 17:32, Reply)
Last seen by me, vomiting into my friend Mat's kitchen sink.
They were taking turns.
(, Wed 8 Jun 2011, 17:34, Reply)
One of them reviewed our club night in Camden and was very rude about it.
Amusingly it was described as a 'music industry back-slapping boy's club' and less amusingly 'boring'.

We saw her out a couple of weeks later and she shat herself and ran off.
(, Wed 8 Jun 2011, 17:35, Reply)
I believe that at one point they were both number one and two in the charts
Only in Japan
(, Wed 8 Jun 2011, 17:32, Reply)
They were 'number two' alright.

(, Wed 8 Jun 2011, 17:41, Reply)
What colour?

(, Wed 8 Jun 2011, 17:12, Reply)
I am so not a blonde.
I was however, a redhead for quite a long time but it's hard work keeping it looking nice and shiny on long hair.

I have a home made sweet chilli sauce at home that is very good.
I made a nice thing yesterday where I filled a portabellow mushroom with some chili, garlic and blue cheese and served that on a smoked saussage in a bun with loads of BBQ sauce and it was very nice and I think I might make it again tonight if I don't get home to late as I quite fancy it.
(, Wed 8 Jun 2011, 17:20, Reply)
sounds fantastic
I love all those things, I'm even coming round to blue cheese (in cooking at least)
(, Wed 8 Jun 2011, 17:24, Reply)
Blue cheese is one of my life's greatest pleasures - and there's some stiff competition in that area.

(, Wed 8 Jun 2011, 17:32, Reply)
slowcooker lamb stew
won't know whether it's awesome until I get home, though.

I'm going to predict "yes" based on previous successes.
(, Wed 8 Jun 2011, 17:21, Reply)
I've made myself smell like a man
as well as normal perfume, I have several miniatures. Picked one at random and only after spraying realised it's definitely a man's scent. So I smell interestingly of Tom Ford's Grey Vetiver. If only I was an attractive man it would be perfect
(, Wed 8 Jun 2011, 17:38, Reply)
Lusty prefers some men's scents to women's ones.
Some of them are definitely suitable for both I would imagine.
(, Wed 8 Jun 2011, 17:40, Reply)
Some scents are unisex
one of Paul Smith's scents for men is lovely. Personally I'm loving the scent itself and it's reacted well with my skin. Very crisp and soapy.
(, Wed 8 Jun 2011, 17:42, Reply)
CKOne is a good example
It makes me go a bit mental when my mrs wears it though, so I probably shouldn't use it myself...
(, Wed 8 Jun 2011, 17:49, Reply)
Paul Smith Story is nice
That's the bottle that looks like a book.
(, Wed 8 Jun 2011, 17:58, Reply)
There's only one men's fragrance that's driven me wild
Boys I've been with don't usually wear them. It was something by Hugo Boss.

NOM NOM NOM
(, Wed 8 Jun 2011, 17:59, Reply)
Oh my word THIS
I don't know what it is about Hugo Boss and CK scents but men wearing them drive me absolutely loopy. Like, slavering at the gash, come home with me now, ah fuckit I'll fuck you right here style loopy.
(, Wed 8 Jun 2011, 18:17, Reply)
Hugo Boss yes
Calvin Klein no. Tom Ford on men = yes as does Chanel Platinum Egoiste
(, Wed 8 Jun 2011, 18:19, Reply)
I shall have to check these out
along with the aforementioned Paul Smith one. Tennis boy wears one of the Hugo Boss ones and it genuinely makes me go weak at the knees.
Similarly there are some women's scents that do the same, a couple of the ones by Ghost and Anna Sui. I have yet to smell a woman in the street and be so captivated by her smell that I have half turned round to follow her like the kids on the Bisto advert.

Yes this has happened with several men. Yes I know this makes me sound creepy.
(, Wed 8 Jun 2011, 18:28, Reply)
My next perfume might be Jo Malone
Or maybe more Miss Dior Cherie. Lol kid perfume.
(, Wed 8 Jun 2011, 18:33, Reply)
I am quite happy with my nighttime perfume
but I'm a little bored of my daytime one. I narrowed it down to one of two Anna Sui scents and, shamefully, the Avril Lavigne one.
(, Wed 8 Jun 2011, 18:36, Reply)
Does Avril do one called 'Tennis Boi'?

(, Wed 8 Jun 2011, 18:36, Reply)
Pffft!
No, it's a scent for me. Tennis boy wears hugo boss; see above.
(, Wed 8 Jun 2011, 18:39, Reply)
So he does.
Is TB all excited about Queens and Wimbledon, and does he have any betting advice?
(, Wed 8 Jun 2011, 18:41, Reply)
He's off to Wimbledon in a couple of weeks
watching, not playing, obviously. He got quite excited about the French Open but I think that's because he can't stand Federer. I don't think he bets, I'm afraid.
(, Wed 8 Jun 2011, 18:44, Reply)
I'm sure he's been excited by a few "French Opens" in his time.

(, Wed 8 Jun 2011, 18:47, Reply)
Do you think he's been on the receiving end of a berk 'grand slam!'

(, Wed 8 Jun 2011, 18:49, Reply)
I should imagine so.
I would think he made a terrible racquet as she bounced his balls on the grass.

Now, THAT'S love.
(, Wed 8 Jun 2011, 18:52, Reply)
I'll bet she served up a right treat.

I would answer this
but I've made it through to the next thread, Jeff.
(, Wed 8 Jun 2011, 18:59, Reply)
I only have a daytime one,
Chanel Chance Eau Fraiche. It's lovely, though.
(, Wed 8 Jun 2011, 18:42, Reply)
Two or more perfumes is the way to go
I've always been wearing the evening one whenever I've pulled, so the smell of it always makes me grin and be in the mood to go out and dance like a tit. I find smells incredibly evocative.
(, Wed 8 Jun 2011, 18:46, Reply)
I've currently got four on rotation
Hermes Caleche, Armani Sensi, DKNY blossom, and some Issey Miyake
(, Wed 8 Jun 2011, 18:54, Reply)
I like Miss Dior Cherie
as a daytime scent :) never worn any Jo Malone
(, Wed 8 Jun 2011, 18:43, Reply)
My mum wears it a lot
They're nice and uncomplicated. And you cna wear them together to create different ones.
(, Wed 8 Jun 2011, 18:46, Reply)
Why do woman wear make up and perfume?
*Obvious joke is obvious*
(, Wed 8 Jun 2011, 18:47, Reply)
Platinum Egoiste has the same effect for me
for women, Sensi (on myself) Black Orchid, and a few others. I just like perfume despite the fact it sometimes makes me sneeze
(, Wed 8 Jun 2011, 18:42, Reply)
it may sound ghetto but I love Jay Z's scent 99
I like wearing it when I'm around the lesbians
(, Wed 8 Jun 2011, 18:27, Reply)
I used to wear a man's scent which name escapes me but it's fucking lovely.
*investigates*

Paco rabane pour homme! Gets me from nought to sixty in the flash of an eye.

Amusingly, I used to wear a woman's skin until she escaped me!
