It's oh so quiet
It's oh so still.
You're all alone, and so peaceful until...

What are you doing this evening Blousie?

(, Tue 19 Jul 2011, 21:41, Reply)
Watching the TV.
Chatting with mates.
(, Tue 19 Jul 2011, 21:42, Reply)
Owt good on the box?

(, Tue 19 Jul 2011, 21:43, Reply)
A programme about a girl who was burnt badly as a child.
Lovely lass but annoying Oirish accent. Which bit of Ireland she's from I don't know.
(, Tue 19 Jul 2011, 21:46, Reply)
I saw the trailer and thought she was just trying to cash in the fame of Simon Weston.
So I didn't bother watching it.
(, Tue 19 Jul 2011, 21:47, Reply)
I like watching programmes like this.
It reminds me not to be such a pillock about the way I look.
(, Tue 19 Jul 2011, 21:48, Reply)
I like car chases.

(, Tue 19 Jul 2011, 21:49, Reply)
Whereas I watched a bit of Next Top Model instead
not helpful at all
(, Tue 19 Jul 2011, 21:50, Reply)
I'll bet both Simon Weston and this burnt girl are rank outsiders to win it.

(, Tue 19 Jul 2011, 21:50, Reply)
I have half a gram from Saturday I forgot about.
You can have some if you want. Liven up proceedings init.
(, Tue 19 Jul 2011, 21:40, Reply)
How can you forget you have drugs.
I have never done that.
(, Tue 19 Jul 2011, 21:41, Reply)
When you buy too much.
Got back to the house party and bought more, leaving the wrap in my wallet untouched.
(, Tue 19 Jul 2011, 21:44, Reply)
Are you having a good day Bazza?

(, Tue 19 Jul 2011, 21:41, Reply)
Dandy, thanks.
Just got back from my aunts, usual big family dinner. My brother and his mates are about to play poker downstairs, might take some of their money in a bit.
(, Tue 19 Jul 2011, 21:44, Reply)
Is your little bro planning on more away game this coming season?

(, Tue 19 Jul 2011, 21:45, Reply)
I said I'd take him to Croatia for the next European game.
The club are doing an official flyer. The price? £900. Bargain. We're gonna do it independently, plus him and my old man are getting season tickets next year. Which is fantastic for me because I'm going to rob their loyalty points so I can do QPR away.
(, Tue 19 Jul 2011, 21:50, Reply)
If you get the chance to buy a 'restricted view' at Loftus Road.
Don't bother. Unless you want to watch the game in Stevie Wonder vision.
(, Tue 19 Jul 2011, 21:53, Reply)
Mate we played there for two seasons.
I know what it's like. The only plus point of those two grim years was watching people nonchalantly rip seats out and smash up the toilets, whilst also going "hello mate how's it going" as their friends walked past not batting an eyelid, as if it was the most natural thing in the world. I still remember the massive 'QPR SEASON TICKETS THIS WAY' scrawled in the bogs with a giant arrow pointing towards the urinals. Great days.

(, Tue 19 Jul 2011, 21:57, Reply)
Errr fractionally over 6 miles
took me 67 minutes.
(, Tue 19 Jul 2011, 21:59, Reply)
Woo!
No wonder you can eat so many cakes.
(, Tue 19 Jul 2011, 22:00, Reply)
Yeah, on a good day I can burn 1000 calories
what with cycling in to work and back as well. But I don't eat THAT many cakes I'll have you know!
(, Tue 19 Jul 2011, 22:02, Reply)
woah! that's loads and pretty damn quick

(, Tue 19 Jul 2011, 22:01, Reply)
It's a fair distance
I need to be able to double it in three months if I want to do this half marathon though - which will be tough. And I ought to be able to manage a 10 minute mile, which I haven't, so it's not that quick either.
(, Tue 19 Jul 2011, 22:02, Reply)
What half marathon are you hoping to do?

(, Tue 19 Jul 2011, 22:05, Reply)
I thought about the Bristol one
but it's in two months time, I doubt I'll be ready. So probably the Birmingham one, but it all depends so much on where I'll be and at the minute I don't know...
(, Tue 19 Jul 2011, 22:08, Reply)
You'll be on the starting line.
Wearing lycra, with your iPod charged and possibly sporting a fetching headband.
(, Tue 19 Jul 2011, 22:09, Reply)
Weirdly
I cannot run to music - it puts me off. But I hate cycling without it.
(, Tue 19 Jul 2011, 22:12, Reply)
The Bristol half marathon is probably dead hilly.
I've never done it.
(, Tue 19 Jul 2011, 22:13, Reply)
It could very well be
I imagine it's round the docks and Park Row etc. At least I know the majority of the Birmingham one is flat.
(, Tue 19 Jul 2011, 22:15, Reply)
Would I be right in thinking that some OT'ers are doing the Bristol half?

(, Tue 19 Jul 2011, 22:20, Reply)
I believe so
CHCB, Al and DiT I think, possibly Darth as well. If I thought I'd be adequately prepared, I'd sign up for it too...but I really won't.
(, Tue 19 Jul 2011, 22:25, Reply)
Well good luck to 'em.
Fingers crossed they don't turned up with a begging bowl for some 'worthy cause'.
(, Tue 19 Jul 2011, 22:31, Reply)
well it all sounds quick to me
but that's probably because about 5 minutes in I'd be a lardy sweating puffing lump and limp the rest of the way
(, Tue 19 Jul 2011, 22:11, Reply)
So YOU jog every morning.
hahahahahaha
(, Tue 19 Jul 2011, 22:12, Reply)
are you being mean?

(, Tue 19 Jul 2011, 22:18, Reply)
Yes.
I'm suggesting you're always a sweating puffing lump.

Sorry.

wait...in fact I have on this very thread!
(, Tue 19 Jul 2011, 22:22, Reply)
Sorry Captain.

And I took it out on you. For that, I apologise.
(, Tue 19 Jul 2011, 22:23, Reply)
oh, OK
damn, was going for a fight, then
(, Tue 19 Jul 2011, 22:25, Reply)
I apologise again.
Please accept me asking after the piggies as a sign of just how sorry I am.

'How are the piggies?'

clean.

(, Tue 19 Jul 2011, 22:38, Reply)
I was like that for the first few weeks
I assure you it gets easier much more quickly than you think.
(, Tue 19 Jul 2011, 22:14, Reply)
I don't think I'd get past the first bit
plus, it's VERY hilly here
(, Tue 19 Jul 2011, 22:19, Reply)
Steep enough for warning signs?

(, Tue 19 Jul 2011, 22:20, Reply)
...don't you have a gym membership?

I haven't been for nearly two weeks and it shows.

(, Tue 19 Jul 2011, 21:59, Reply)
Well good for you, going for a jog.
Shows a lot of dedication that does.
(, Tue 19 Jul 2011, 22:04, Reply)

not nearly as much dedication as going three times a week would...
(, Tue 19 Jul 2011, 22:05, Reply)
Well, there is that.
But you've had a traumatic day.

On a connected note, Goldie's new comp is alright. Starts out a bit dull, livens up then ends with Timeless.
