When I do that, suddenly all the security gards and staff stare at me intently, because they know I am about to steal goods. I expect for as I walk into the bit between the front enterance and where you enter the foodhall bit, for steal cages to come down and then police to come out of no where, armed police, the ASDA devision of MI5. And they'll be like "Excuse me sir, can I see your bag and your recipty..... Well, well, well, looks like you have two packets of bacon here but only one on the till. YOU'RE A THIEF AND YOU'RE GOING DOWN FOR A VERY LONG TIME".

There might possibly an "iPhone for the masses", a cheap model that would make it affordable in emerging markets, to compete with the low-end level of Android. Cut a loss on the hardware and make a fortune in iTunes/AppStore.
I can't see me updating to the iPhone 5 this year, the only new feature I'd like is the reportably bigger screen, but I have an iPad to cator for that, and if it means I can drop my contract/insurance from £70 down to £25, then I don't think there is anything worth upgrading for.

Not sure whether to just get a 4 cheaply or splash out on a 5

If you use up a big contract's worth of stuff, then I'd go for iPhone 5, but if you only have a big contract to make up the cost of the phone, then I'd go for the iPhone 4 (or whatever they make the 'iPhone Lite' to be).

Iphone can fuck off, I'm getting a Samsung Galaxy S II on the grounds that after reading dozens of different reviews and comparisons I've come away with the vague impression that it's probably pretty good.

A guy at work had one he was very pleased with, when he saw how well my Palm handled having half a dozen apps and webpages running simultaneously I thought he was going to cry. That sort of put me off.
