While I agree addiction to computer games is unhealthy
I'd like to stack up violence related to games against football related violence, which I suspect will will be much, much higher. SO the answer clear: Ban football.

Excellent idea.

Edit: Should say calm but I think clam will do just as well.

(, Tue 25 Oct 2011, 10:15, Reply)
Because football is such a heterosexual game
There is nothing at all gay about watching men in shorts run around after a ball, excluding women, showering together, kissing and cuddling other men to celebrate victory, etc. Oh no.
(, Tue 25 Oct 2011, 10:23, Reply)
Presumably that's why they engage in such excessive compensatory extracurricular activities
And make sure the tabloids learn about them
(, Tue 25 Oct 2011, 10:26, Reply)
Like that gay black chap who married the racist pop star
Two birds, one stone.
(, Tue 25 Oct 2011, 10:28, Reply)
It's normally
Two birds, a hotel room and at least one sexual assault charge.

(, Tue 25 Oct 2011, 10:32, Reply)

Banning football won't reduce violence
those that commit it are just looking for an excuse but they'll do it anyway.
(, Tue 25 Oct 2011, 10:08, Reply)
They'll just join the EDL

(, Tue 25 Oct 2011, 10:09, Reply)
I don't like the violence but I agree with their policies.

(, Tue 25 Oct 2011, 10:11, Reply)
I think they're scum.

(, Tue 25 Oct 2011, 10:13, Reply)
What policies do they have?
Change through intimidation, getting drunk and "telling it like it is"
(, Tue 25 Oct 2011, 10:14, Reply)
Yes.
Don't forget the mindless violence.

Britain for the British!
(, Tue 25 Oct 2011, 10:16, Reply)

I'll assume joking.

Yes. Of course, silly.
I think they are fucking cunts.
(, Tue 25 Oct 2011, 10:29, Reply)
I thought you were Bear Pookie for a minute

(, Tue 25 Oct 2011, 10:43, Reply)
Probably true.
Now apply the same logic to gamer-rage and we can fro get the question and get on with our day.
(, Tue 25 Oct 2011, 10:16, Reply)
Alright Comrade?
Trust you are well?
(, Tue 25 Oct 2011, 10:17, Reply)
I think I am finnally getting there

Ear ache, right?
(, Tue 25 Oct 2011, 10:20, Reply)
4 weeks today since symptoms began
Virus and an ear infection and I think latterly a cold while my immune system was low, just getting over that now. It's been like a month of heavy cold basically.
(, Tue 25 Oct 2011, 10:30, Reply)
You been off work for 4 weeks?

(, Tue 25 Oct 2011, 10:31, Reply)
What do you take me for?

(, Tue 25 Oct 2011, 10:31, Reply)

the plague AIDS
(, Tue 25 Oct 2011, 10:33, Reply)
It's possible.
Monty claims he was feeling shit before his birthday so I may not be to blame. You are a far better candidate, especially due to all the close physical contact. sorry sweety
(, Tue 25 Oct 2011, 10:47, Reply)
Rough with the smooth innit

(, Tue 25 Oct 2011, 10:52, Reply)
Indeed.
Apologies if they are required BTW, how does your plague progress?
(, Tue 25 Oct 2011, 10:54, Reply)
Am pretty sure I got it from the sister-in-law really mate, no worries
Still coughing with frustrating regularity, but now it's moved on to the really nasty bit; where the missus starts to get ill and blames me for it.
(, Tue 25 Oct 2011, 10:55, Reply)
*sympathies*
I used to get this.
(, Tue 25 Oct 2011, 10:56, Reply)
*ducks and weaves*

(, Tue 25 Oct 2011, 10:24, Reply)
I wasn't suggesting "gamer rage" even existed, let alone was actually a problem
I fear sir might find that was the subject of my first post right up at the top, so.

So I think we can, indeed, safely get on with our day. As you were.
(, Tue 25 Oct 2011, 10:31, Reply)
Sorry, actually working a bit today so not read the whole thread.
I know I can usually rely on you for logic, but you can be suspiciously sporty, so one never knows.
(, Tue 25 Oct 2011, 10:32, Reply)
Indeed. Wise of you to maintain a healthy mistrust of those that exercise.

(, Tue 25 Oct 2011, 10:36, Reply)
I think it dates back to my school days
Anyone who took any joy in games seemed to be a moronic simian. It's a shame really because organised sports at school has left me with a distrust of any kind of excersize, even though some things I'd actually enjoy most likely.
(, Tue 25 Oct 2011, 10:49, Reply)
Spot on, addiction to almost anything is unhealthy by definition.
And yeah', football related violence is far far FAR worst than video game related.
