What this thread needs is more caffeine
I'm sure we'll all feel a lot better after a nice cup of tea or coffee...
(, Wed 2 Nov 2011, 8:57, Reply)
what this thread needs is a good solid fucking cunting in the murray.
Until it bucks its ideas up a bit.
(, Wed 2 Nov 2011, 8:59, Reply)
No what I need is someone else to complete the 60+ pages of complex financial forms I have to do today
No amount of caffeine would improve this experience.
(, Wed 2 Nov 2011, 8:59, Reply)
I work in finance. For a modest fee I can scrawl a jizzing cock across each page.

Think I can just about manage to scribe a CDC myself though.

Gid Moaning.
Oddly, I saw Herr Flick, Helga and the gay one whose name escapes me signing autographs on Saturday. Only Herr Flick and Helga were in costume though, the other one wasn't, which leads me to one of two conclusions: Either he wasn't entering the spirit of the occassion or the other two dress like that all the time. I'm hoping it's the latter.
(, Wed 2 Nov 2011, 9:00, Reply)
When you say Helga was in costume...
Do you mean full-length coat with basque, stockings and suspenders underneath?

(, Wed 2 Nov 2011, 9:12, Reply)
No, sadly she was in the dirty green NAzi uniform.
Mind you, she was signing pictures of her in the basque set. A £10 'Saucy Postcard' set with you choosing which one she signed.

Herr Flick was doing the same with less success.*

*this is a lie. he was actually doing it with more success.

(, Wed 2 Nov 2011, 9:10, Reply)
Morning.
I'd say it's 'gid' on balance. I cycled to work for the first time in 5 weeks and while I'm out of practice I didn't die. On the down side I need a new back wheel chizz chizz.
(, Wed 2 Nov 2011, 9:27, Reply)
what'cha done to it, foo?

Edit - actually, let's enter into a conversation that ailienates the rest of the board, for shits and giggles.

I need to be able to switch from slicks to off-roads on my bike. It's a fanny swapping tyres over so I thought I'd get a second set of wheels, but my brother reckons I'll have problems with uneven wear on the rear cassette and everything will jump. Thoughts? Also, I'd love to know where I can get good non-disc wheels with spacing that'll match a 1998 XT 8sp freehup/cassette made up for me.

(, Wed 2 Nov 2011, 9:53, Reply)
3 broken spokes
no idea if they all went at once of it's been a slow process. I know I could replace them an re-true the wheel but it's a dirty fidly job and I've never liked that wheel so I'd prefer to just chuck it and buy a new one.

You brother might have a point, but I'd say do it and see, I'm not the best person to ask as all my bikes are old and I view quick release wheels as a silly novelty.
(, Wed 2 Nov 2011, 9:44, Reply)
I was subjected to the best theft EVER a couple of years ago
someone nicked the original shimano and hope lightweight QRs out of my wheels and put some from a Halfords £50 bike in, instead. I didn't notice for about 2 months. I have to give them that.
(, Wed 2 Nov 2011, 9:49, Reply)
I like this.

(, Wed 2 Nov 2011, 9:50, Reply)
where the fuck is the question?
no wonder this place is dying on its arse today.
(, Wed 2 Nov 2011, 9:35, Reply)
you could read it as: "Good morning?"
and answer appropriately.

I can start a new one with a question if you like but I'll probably be about bicycles.
(, Wed 2 Nov 2011, 9:46, Reply)
