Good morning all (except Quinten).
No thread deletions today. How shall we entertain our selves today?

Alt: favourite bertdown/flounce? Preferably with links.

AltAlt: podcasts, great idea or waste of time? If the former what do you listen to?
(, Fri 8 Jun 2012, 7:46, 110 replies, latest was 13 years ago)
So long as its not like yeserday it will be fine.
Alt: I thought you were going to bertdown yesterday CQ. You may have overdone the Lithium.

AltAlt: I catch up on radio and telly programmes I miss on the BBC Iplayer. Does that count?
(, Fri 8 Jun 2012, 7:52, Reply)
Mmmmmm
tasty lithium. some of the BBC stuff is on podcasts.
(, Fri 8 Jun 2012, 8:01, Reply)

Alt: The Cat Hater admitting to being Bert.

In other news, I now believe you to be Quinten.

And finally; this morning I have to taste 12 starters, 25 main courses and 8 puddings. My job is really tough sometimes.

I feel like death and didn't sleep much. Bloody cold.

AltAlt: I don't know about all of them but I have started listening to Boars, Gore and Swords from the beginning. Two guys who haven't read the books discussing each episode of Game of Thrones. It's very funny.

well that's good.
I was supposed to get SO MUCH DONE today. Instead I did the shopping, bought a birthday present, did 5 quizzes, 6 pages of notes and burned 10 dvds of tv shows.

Actually I'm good now that I realise I've done a lot.
(, Fri 8 Jun 2012, 8:50, Reply)
Look who's turned in to Quinten this morning.

Podcasts are fantastic.
Otherwise I'd never get to hear The Danny Baker Show or Mark Kermodes film reviews. Plus Doug Benson's Doug Loves Movies, Scot Auckerman's Comedy Bang Bang, The Paul F Tomcast, Jimy Pardo's Never Not Funny. All of which are far funnier than any current TV show.

So yes, I'm a bit of an evangelist.

evangelist wanker.

Morning CQ
I'm just sorting myself out for the weekend, but I've got a majorly busy day ahead, so I won't be here much. Little bit of shopping in Manchester tomorrow, followed by a quiet night in, as it's my niece's dedication on Sunday. Should be a nice weekend.

Alt: Got to be Wormulus' one.

AltAlt: Good idea I'm sure, just not for me.
(, Fri 8 Jun 2012, 8:47, Reply)
Is your niece

I dunno, what's got into me lately, but it's clearly not good. If I can't moderate it I'll stay away.

FWIW. Anything I'be said lately about Quinten's identitty lately in public or private, has been utter horseshoe. I have no clue who he is, although I am pretty sure he is a vindictive shitstiring little prick.

We're half way through the year, it's offically time to watch the muppets christmas carol !
(, Fri 8 Jun 2012, 9:20, Reply)
how come chicks don't dig you gonz?

(, Fri 8 Jun 2012, 9:22, Reply)
I donno man, I don't get it.
I'm a very sensitive soul really, I like that Kiss The Rain song and that With Or Without You and that What If God Was One Of Us ones. I sometimes even stair out the window when it's raining because the cruel dark world is reflecting how I feel on the inside. On days like that, I can't watch Muppet's Christmas Carol, because it wouldn't be right for my mood, so I watch a Robbin Williams film where he's an old guy who dies AND/OR is an old guy with a young chick who dies.
(, Fri 8 Jun 2012, 9:27, Reply)
Gonz, if you want to feel better, ditch the Robin Williams stuff.
It don't do anyone any good.
(, Fri 8 Jun 2012, 9:30, Reply)

Like anyone had a dry eye when the guy says "ok, you can turn me off" and the girl says "it's been an honour sir"
And then he's dead but the judge says "You ARE a human'
(, Fri 8 Jun 2012, 9:58, Reply)
Until he dies, nothing he has done or will ever do will entertain me in any way whatsoever.

(, Fri 8 Jun 2012, 9:36, Reply)
Thanks Monty.
I was beginning to doubt myself.
(, Fri 8 Jun 2012, 9:37, Reply)
Nobody wants to feel 'better' when they're being all dark and broody.
Unless it lasts more than a few hours, that's enough of being dark and broody.
(, Fri 8 Jun 2012, 9:32, Reply)
Or if there is no one around to watch, if nobody can see you being all dark and broody, then there is no point in it, might as well be happy.

(, Fri 8 Jun 2012, 9:33, Reply)
When I'm dark and broody, I watch Stalingrad.
Everyone freezes to death, and its a right hoot.
(, Fri 8 Jun 2012, 9:36, Reply)
isnt that not even in English? That's some good brooding going on there, it's like you're saying.,,,
"I am too dark and broody to want to be entertained, there is nothing in the English language that can reflect how I feel.... I'm going to have cigarettes and whiskey instead of harribo and snapple, cus that is how I feel about the world"
(, Fri 8 Jun 2012, 9:56, Reply)
That's about the size of it Gonz.
