They eat horses don't they?!
So it seems meat processing plants in Ireland aren't cleaned properly, and as a result people are in uproar at eating another animal other than the cow.

What's the worst thing you've had in your mouth?

Alt. I'm due an upgrade for my phone soon. Which should I get and why? Are you happy with your mobile device?

I've never understood why you meat eaters get squeamish about eating certain animals.
Surely cooked flesh is cooked flesh whichever animal it came from?
(, Wed 16 Jan 2013, 11:09, Reply)
the only meat I wouldn't eat is myself
cos I need this meat for walking and hands and such
(, Wed 16 Jan 2013, 11:10, Reply)
You'd need a rib removing, allegedly

(, Wed 16 Jan 2013, 11:15, Reply)
This is what I was saying today
Someone came back with "what if it was cat or dog meat?"

If it tastes like burger, who cares?!
(, Wed 16 Jan 2013, 11:10, Reply)
Tesco Value burgers don't really taste like burger.

(, Wed 16 Jan 2013, 11:11, Reply)
If it was cat it'd be quite bitter
You have to either marinade them a long time or get them young
(, Wed 16 Jan 2013, 11:13, Reply)
I couldn't care less
Tbh, I don't see how anyone that eats Tesco value burgers can complain about meat at all.
(, Wed 16 Jan 2013, 11:13, Reply)
They should be grateful if it contains any actual meat at all.

(, Wed 16 Jan 2013, 11:14, Reply)
This is true.

(, Wed 16 Jan 2013, 11:17, Reply)
I think the issue with this is 'somehow there is stuff in our product that explicitly shouldn't be there'
rather than 'oh noes, don't eat the cute animals'

Given one of the burgers was just shy of 30% horse
I'm pretty sure it's less "failing to clean properly" and more "slinging a couple of dobbins into the blenders along with the cows"

But, meh, it's a load of irrelevant shite. Putting horse in will only increase the quality of burgers. And horse is quite nice.

I ate me a Carpathian bear in Romania. The meat was nice enough, but the weird sauce they cooked it in was kind of gross.

Romanian food is fucking repulsive.
Their national dish is greasy soup. Fucking gyppo cunts.
(, Wed 16 Jan 2013, 11:56, Reply)
That soup had chicken hearts in it.
That was a bit weird. Tasted like generic chicken meat, but I had to look away a couple of times.
