Burning foreigners.

Celebrating my mate's birthday instead

Not on Off Topic then.
Change the record, tangles, it's tedious beyond belief.

I HAVE A VERY VALID POINT TO MAKE

(, Mon 22 Apr 2013, 15:18, Reply)
YOU ONLY HAVE TO MAKE IT ONCE!

you haven't mentioned your debut 'long player' in like ages

I've moved all my activity to secret gazzes now, that's why.

(, Mon 22 Apr 2013, 15:21, Reply)
I hope some fiend doesn't 'leak' it to the rest of the class. I fear a barrage of unduly negative criticism and 'pisstaking' of the centre left hand wringing student politics of the lyrics, and damp dull cacphoney

(, Mon 22 Apr 2013, 15:25, Reply)
I'm a big boy, I'm sure I can handle it.

(, Mon 22 Apr 2013, 15:28, Reply)
i'll be as objective as possible babygirl

(, Mon 22 Apr 2013, 15:29, Reply)
I don't, because I'm English and happy with it that way.
Only people who are unsure of their country's validity or importance celebrate a national saint's day. Oirish, Scots and Welsh for a start.

I must say Luton is looking more and more English every time I go back there

(, Mon 22 Apr 2013, 15:16, Reply)

I am so disapointed we let the other quarter get away.

i just got this from the oxford college where i did my masters:

If you don’t mind the early start, the Morris dancers and the choir singing from Magdalen Tower make this a traditional highlight of the Oxford year.

how shit does that sound?
(, Mon 22 Apr 2013, 15:24, Reply)
Did you really do your MASTERS DEGREE at an OXFORD COLLEGE THAT OBVIUSLY ISN@T POLY BROOKES?

(, Mon 22 Apr 2013, 15:27, Reply)
i really really really did
it was in creative writing, and we all know how valuable that is and how much it will enhance my future income.

actually, that being said, quite a few of the guys on the course have now had books published, so maybe it does work.
(, Mon 22 Apr 2013, 15:32, Reply)
cool bruv, it sounds about as useful as that degree in film studies that becky jizzbox kept going on about
She lacked the awareness that it was an embarrassing waste of time that resulted in a decade of dead end jobs before she finally decided to retrain in something that might have career prospects.
(, Mon 22 Apr 2013, 15:37, Reply)
i did it for fun, as did a couple of the others
also if i just put "masters from oxford" on my cv, hopefully people will just assume it's in law, and NOBODY WILL EVER KNOW.

but 90% of the course were doing it full-time. a 2 year, part time course in creative writing. and this was their job. one of them already had a masters in poetry. poetry. that is even more useless than creative writing.
(, Mon 22 Apr 2013, 15:39, Reply)
Perhaps they didn't know it.

(, Mon 22 Apr 2013, 15:41, Reply)

Their golden ale is currently a pound for a 500ml bottle in Sainsbo's.
Seems about right to me, rather than £1.99 or whatever the RRP is.

It's OK and drinkable, so yes
Also Tesco Simply IPA at £1.39 is good
