i don't think it will be anywhere near that long before the price of petrol becomes seriously prohibitive
it is already affecting plenty of people enough to have them start changing their driving habits

edit by plenty i mean, some, not exactly loads, but the price of petrol keeps goin up yo, and its only gonna be exponential

Pretty sure that neither I nor anyone else here is qualified to comment on it.
But I guess we should all adopt a standpoint based on what others expect of us.
With that in mind I'd like to put forward the view that all progress is counterproductive and suggest that not enough has been done to harness the potential energy from, oh I dunno, the methane gas that cows produce or summat.

I view fracking as I view any mining.
There's something under the ground we want get it if it's worth it and try not to totally fuck the surrounding area up.

Also if we change all coal fired power stations to gas we'll do pretty well in terms of reducing CO2.
