LOFT CHAT
A friend of mine put on a festival a few years back, dedicated to local legend Delia Derbyshire.
One of the people involved went round to see her old house and was invited in by the current owner, who then proceeded to hand over a load of Delia's old stuff - school reports, ration book, gas mask, etc. - that he had found in the loft when he moved in.

THIS IS A COOL STORY SO FUCK OFF, BRO

You may have heard her work on the Dr Who theme, for example.
Basically all the cool sounding shit on any BBC sci-fi programme from the 60s-80s was made by her and her colleagues.
She was very cool.

A reversionary lease is a lease that does not commence until some future date.

In Australia and the United Kingdom, legislation restricts such leases. Such a lease would be void if the lease takes effect more than 21 years from the date that of the instrument.[1][2]

A reversionary lease is to be distinguished from a lease of a reversion which is when the landlord after granting a lease to lessee 1 and later grants a lease of the same property to lessee 2 for the same or different period. In such cases, lessee 2 will become the new landlord for lessee 1 (lessee 1 pay rents to lessee 2) and lessee 2 has to pay rent to the original landlord.

Yeah, if something is easy it's a piece of piss.

(, Tue 6 Aug 2013, 13:39, Reply)
it's probably a combination of piss easy and piece of cake
although where piss easy comes from is anybodies guess.
(, Tue 6 Aug 2013, 13:42, Reply)
It's a derivative of piece of cake I think
I am unsure why though. It was an army phrase I used to hear when I was a kid.
