I thought I'd be healthy and go for the vegi option, but it's ratatouille ffs.
The blandest dish ever, the meat dish, of fish looks much more satisfying.
Not been to London for ages, forgotten what a shithole it is.Bromley by Bow apparently. What' s the shittest area of London?

They don't have shit areas in London, only 'up-and-coming' ones

"Vibrant"

They only get to be "up and coming" after the police manage to arrest
enough scumbags, villains and drug dealers that the local stabbing rate drops enough to allow the Hoxton Collective to move in and set up fixie workshops.

Juno the Ferry Boat Inn?
300 yards away from where Mark Duggan (RIP in r hartz 4eva) was shot, and yet you could, with a slight twitch of imagination, be in the heart of the countryside.

Yah, you're like, toadally missing out by bot being charged fordy quid for a tofu and duck's tear sandwich on artisan bread from a flash sandwich craftsman.

Oh THAT'S what they're calling burger vans.
I could have sworn it was 'flash van'.
(, Wed 2 Oct 2013, 13:56, Reply)
Also: 'vintage' shops.
We call them 'charity' shops, round here.
(, Wed 2 Oct 2013, 13:57, Reply)
If I ever hear someone referring to anything that doesn't feature in the A-Team as a 'flash van'
Legally speaking I'm pretty sure I'm entitled to kill them.

attempt to make it big on the mean streets of a war torn town
(, Wed 2 Oct 2013, 14:02, Reply)
It's far more embarrassing than that.

I dread to think
Was it called:
Covo Povvo
(, Wed 2 Oct 2013, 14:22, Reply)
It's from the makers of that Essex programme and is called Sent to Coventry.
Luckily they've decided to focus on the grimmest side of life, which as you can imagine, by Cov standards, is very grim.
(, Wed 2 Oct 2013, 14:36, Reply)
You know all those insipid ads where there's a pop song covered by some utterly vapid drippy folk singer?
That's exactly what I imagine Tangles And The Yurtists to sound like, if they actually had some bollocks.
(, Wed 2 Oct 2013, 14:35, Reply)
If only we were that good.

(, Wed 2 Oct 2013, 14:49, Reply)

There have been about half a dozen labrador dogs in work today
They are being trained as guide dogs, the lesson for them today seems to be 'navigating office space'.

IF YOU WANT TO SEE A DOG JUST LOOK IN THE MIRROR

(, Wed 2 Oct 2013, 14:52, Reply)
These are Labradors though, not red setters

(, Wed 2 Oct 2013, 14:56, Reply)
I once read about how you can take home puppies for guide dog training, and they give you all the food'n'shit they need... you look after them at any time you can, and when you're at work and stuff, thats when they do their schooling.
TGB convinced me it was a bad idea for me, but OMG, I would love that.
(, Wed 2 Oct 2013, 14:56, Reply)
Gonz, if you were to own a dog think of all the benefits it would bring you.
Companionship, undemanding affection and you'd save a fortune in status would improve because you could both live off pedigree chum, which, let's face face, would be a step up in dining for you.
(, Wed 2 Oct 2013, 15:13, Reply)
Honestly, it's my #1 goal in life, and has been for the last 20 years.
It wouldn't be fair on the dog though because I live in a flat.
(, Wed 2 Oct 2013, 16:17, Reply)
That's the other thing. You' have to leave the place and get some exercise.
