I am feeling slightly sick after reading that.

(, Wed 15 Jan 2014, 12:02, Reply)
Onions, nacho cheese and mustard are acceptable

(, Wed 15 Jan 2014, 12:04, Reply)
The only cheese I will allow on a good quality burger is Stilton
A bit of lettuce and a spicy sauce.
(, Wed 15 Jan 2014, 12:06, Reply)
Apple wood smoked cheddar is also a good option.

(, Wed 15 Jan 2014, 12:07, Reply)
I will take that under advisment

(, Wed 15 Jan 2014, 12:11, Reply)
Yup, the paneer isn't really a cheese, it's more of a squeeky solid.

(, Wed 15 Jan 2014, 12:11, Reply)
I keep meaning to try making paneer

What combination would you choose? Because of the way justeat works, you have to fill in each 'slot'.

(, Wed 15 Jan 2014, 12:12, Reply)
I wouldn't have so many toppings, probably just cheese & some fried onions.

(, Wed 15 Jan 2014, 12:13, Reply)
How pedestrian

(, Wed 15 Jan 2014, 12:28, Reply)
Im sure you can add a note to the delivery explaining that you want less toppings.

I have stuck with the same look since uni
and its coming back into fashion, this now makes me look like an aging hipster prick. I dunno what to do Sporters should I change my look so it isnt coming back into fashion or should I just stick with it and use it to try and pull a young bird for a bit on the side.

I'm a nice combination of both.
Slightly behind with owning a lot of new tech as I'm not that into it, but I know how it works and what it does. (Apart from spellcheck - AMIRITE?)

Music, I still know who all the artists are on compilation adverts. So popular culture I'm on point. Nullo prick breakbeat underground cool trendy shit, not so much.

Clothes, yeah, I'm on trend. Starting to look at items and wondering if I can still get away with it. I can though.

Alt. Chicken Madras I made last night. Always bring something home made in as the only choices round here are panini's or Iceland.
(, Wed 15 Jan 2014, 11:56, Reply)
Bit of both.
Music wise I seemed to stop paying attention in about 2001. Technology wise I have some gadgets and stuff but I'm not all about everything wifi and in the cloud and that. Plus, jeans, jumpers and boots with a short back and sides is a CLASSIC look that never ages.
(, Wed 15 Jan 2014, 11:59, Reply)

Or maybe they could be a way of shared folders within a network
so you could copy to a special shared folder and it would appear on both compters
(, Wed 15 Jan 2014, 12:20, Reply)
Why are you complicating matters with this 'folders' nonsense?

SOZ

(, Wed 15 Jan 2014, 12:26, Reply)
I have that already on our network
However, for reasons best known to our IT staff, you can only access it as a live folder on a machine running Win XP.

This rather fucks up my "generally using a mac and, if not, at least wanting an operating system that can run a web browser that isn't out of date" plans.

The value of recorded music has gone through the floor with the free availability of it.
Technology is weird - I was watching a gadget programme on telly the other day about the latest thing - curved-screen TVs. I mean - what's the point?

I think we're going to go full Matrix soon, and just become beings wired into completely immersive sensory stimulation devices.

Gradually and hopefully we'll die out.

My lunch was delicious - a homemade meatball wrap - it's Mrs V's birthday party this weekend, and she's using me as a guinea pig to test the dishes she's going to cook for it, which is nice.
(, Wed 15 Jan 2014, 12:19, Reply)
Why make it gradual?
You could top yourself now.
(, Wed 15 Jan 2014, 12:20, Reply)
I feel my mission is to encourage everyone else to do so first.

(, Wed 15 Jan 2014, 12:33, Reply)
Curved tv screens apparently fit the curve of your eyeball, giving a better feel of depth or some other shit.
I would LOVE a 4k curved screen but I assume it would cost about 5 grand.

Technology does seem to be wanting us to sit watching the box, eating loads and becoming a fat whale. Far cry from the hunter-gatherers we are designed to be.

(, Wed 15 Jan 2014, 12:37, Reply)

(, Wed 15 Jan 2014, 12:38, Reply)
Wouldnt that only work if the screen was a parabola,
otherwise you would get different angles of refraction so the image would distort...

*has no scientific evidence just seems right*
(, Wed 15 Jan 2014, 12:26, Reply)
Dunno. I didn't make em :(

(, Wed 15 Jan 2014, 12:32, Reply)
I like the idea that you have to sit in exactly the right place to watch it, none of this having mates over and bringing in all the extra chairs.

(, Wed 15 Jan 2014, 12:36, Reply)
Why on earth would you go to a friend's house to watch television?

'mates'?

(, Wed 15 Jan 2014, 12:38, Reply)
or some other shit
Exactly. I can understand the military application of such, perhaps, but entertainment-wise - it all seems a bit overkill (ironically).

I mean - a video's a video. Clear, in colour, on a big enough screen is great. I don't see how a curved screen is really going to make any difference.

Mind - our telly's 20 years old and showing no signs of packing up, so I don't see why I'm so bothered.

I just get a distinct feeling that people are employed to create problems in order to sell us shit to solve them. No one knew they needed music while walking along until the walkman was invented.

I'm sorry - I appear to be taking the internet seriously. I still like breasts, though.
(, Wed 15 Jan 2014, 12:37, Reply)
Plus also you get more floorspace per screen size because it's bent (but naturally the depth increases).
Where 'curved' comes into its own is with portable devices, imagine being able to 'fold' your phone in half, or having the sides as part of the screen for other functions (ie, in a 'closed' state, you can still recieve notifications on the side).

Flexable OLEDs doesn't always mean Bendable, but it does mean that you can have other shapes rather than flat rectangles.
(, Wed 15 Jan 2014, 12:45, Reply)
I used to be able to fold my 'phone in half - it was called a clam-shell.

(, Wed 15 Jan 2014, 12:54, Reply)
There is a new one that you can adjust between curved and normal using flexable OLED.
I think Sharp or someone just made a 80ish '8K' TV.

We'll need a list of what is and what isn't 'tech', then, and why each falls into each category.
People are pretentious. Everyone aspires to something - even if it's just going outside.
