Are you a QOTWer? Do you want to start a thread that isn't a direct answer to the current QOTW? Then this place, gentle poster, is your friend.

so how relevant is the question really, to whether the thread is good or not?
alt: how are you under pressure? do you steel up, or weep like a pussy?

altalt: how would you talk someone from here down from a bridge? what would you say?

altaltalt: go on then, have a food question. which is better - tiny novelties or giant ones? like, mini chocolate buttons, or gargantuan ones?

Very
Alt Steel up
AltAlt Just fucking Jump already
AltAltAlt this just proves the answer to the first question really. I'm leaving for Lightys thread.

altalt: I wouldn't.

(, Thu 30 Jan 2014, 9:45, Reply)
I must agree with you here. I'd simply not want to get involved.

(, Thu 30 Jan 2014, 9:49, Reply)
I'd stick around to watch, mind.

(, Thu 30 Jan 2014, 9:52, Reply)
Nah bit ghoulish.
I've had a message over the pa at public events,"is there a doctor available?" I always hope someone answers first.
(, Thu 30 Jan 2014, 9:55, Reply)
That's the reason I'll forever regret getting a Doctorate in Philosophy.

(, Thu 30 Jan 2014, 10:00, Reply)
the only reason?

(, Thu 30 Jan 2014, 10:04, Reply)
The one and only, TRUE reason, yes.
Anyone who says otherwise is an infidel and a prick.
(, Thu 30 Jan 2014, 10:10, Reply)
At least you are a proper doctor
rather than these fake doctors that help to cure people, but are living a lie
(, Thu 30 Jan 2014, 10:07, Reply)
A mini chocolate button? What the fuck is that?
Buttons are small enough anyway, why make a mini one?
A gargantuan one would be good though. I prescribe a tin of Quality Street.
(, Thu 30 Jan 2014, 9:46, Reply)
The different packaging and presentation of food is pointless.
They should have created food pills by now.

They could be dispensed only at certain times, and you'd have to have an ID of some form to get yours - like the cat feeders for when you go on holiday.

Then there wouldn't be any more fatsos.
(, Thu 30 Jan 2014, 9:48, Reply)
Yeah
and flying cars, and silver space suit style clothing... Oh and wheres my fucking robot butler

They could put pedals in it and a wheel in the front that you could use:
to steer the thing and maybe cut down the amount of wheels to 4 putting 1 in each corner
(, Thu 30 Jan 2014, 10:00, Reply)
That would be great!
You could have real working doors to get in and out of it, and lights on it for when it goes forwards and backwards.

alt alt: alright

(, Thu 30 Jan 2014, 9:48, Reply)
A good question is always fun, but it is always the quantity of posters that carries a thread, not the quality.
Alt: I'm under almost constant pressure. It's alright.

Altalt: I'd jump first to prove to them how silly they were being.

Altaltalt: What's wrong with normal sized food?
(, Thu 30 Jan 2014, 9:49, Reply)

It can help but isnt essential once we fall back into the round of insults
Any mildly contentious issue is good as it does provoke a level of discussion.

Alt. Pretty good but like most people I have a breaking point, did the old anti depressant thing in uni.

Altalt. I would use my special wonder woman lasso that I keep about my person at all times.

It's a starting point, we'll wander off on a tangent anyway
but it needs something to catalyse conversation.
