Dead Board?
Bit of a shame...
I'm still at work, I came back to find it empty here, the new QOTW being a rubbish one and... I can't think of anything else to moan about.

I'm annoyed.
Came home rearing to go to kickboxing, only to find that I left my kit in the sink, so its all wet and can't be used. I'll have to do extra training on the Wii Fit now :(

I've been to the gym where a buffed up young maaaaan showed me how to use the machines.
At one point I was lying next to him on the floor trying to do stomach crunches.
*sigh*
And then I came home and burnt my pizza again.
Bloody crap oven.

When I moved out from my ex's into the place I am now, I couldn't believe how much shit I'd accumulated. Then she knocked at my door a month or so later with a bag of porn I had forgotten was still there.

Once when I was about 18.
I decided that I was going to go jogging in the mornings. I bought the trainers and the clothes and set my alarm for 6pm the next morning.
I got up and set off and managed about 15 minutes, came back home and never did it again.
My induction at the gym today looks promising. I'll try it out for a few times and see what happens.

I used to go to the gym every morning when I worked in a office
I would get there at about 7am and be at my desk for 9.
I really thought I would hate it but now I can't afford it I really miss it.
Going in the morning before work made me feel good and virtuous for the rest of the day. And their showers were much nicer than mine!
I was really worried before I went but I was please to see that I wasn't the biggest person there.
All that said I didn't loose an ounce of weight.

But the guy who showed me round seemed nice and there were some older women there as well.
If nothing else I can go to use the treadmill if it's raining and I can't go walking.

The companies I'm supposed to be interviewing with keep wanting to re-schedule the interviews. After having moved the first one twice, the other company wanted to move theirs to the time I had arranged the first one. In the end, I managed to get them to do the second one during their lunchbreak. Serves them right for playing musical chairs with my timeslots. And this just after I booked my ticket to London (thankfully, I have yet to book my ticket to Oxford).
BTW: I'm currently supposed to be gathering material together to show as examples of my work and burn it onto a CD.

Meh...
I think I've read about as much as I can take of the new QOTW. I've only got a limited tolerance for (what I tend to see as) short term nostalgia, especially over whatever pieces of plastic people pestered their parents into procuring for the purposes of prepubescent peace (although I do however quite enjoy alliteration).
Star wars Toys. Power Rangers, Transformers, Mighty Fucking Max? Fine, they were an essential piece of your childhood, but unless you happen to have saved some pristine packaged pieces (and if so - why? I thought you were supposed to be a child), keep one or two pieces which was special to you and toss the rest.
Sure, I've got a nostalgia box (Ok, and a few othe treasured things scattered around the houe) - but it's one box, and it will get opened up in 10 or 20 years or me to relive my youth then.
To all of you toy hoarders? Just fucking grow up will you.

No I won't fucking grow up. You're just jealous because I've got more cool toys than you.
*can't be arsed to read the new QOTW yet as it looks a bit shit*

Well, you certainly have access to more of the fluffehness anyway
(That, I'm definitely jealous of).
However, we had the two chinese hamsters out and running about tonight (remember the picture with the hats?) and that was definitely fun.
I'm just grumpy because I've had a cough for a week and it's getting a bit tedious.

Aww that's no good
sorry Fireflier.
Chinese hamsters are very cute. Not greatly impressed with the one I'm looking after at the moment as he's trying to die on me. So I'm carefully monitoring him and not getting bitten too much...roll on owners coming home to living hamster.
Edit: If you ignore the bog roll and the fact that part of the helmet needs gluing (haha, fnarr)back on since it was knocked over at a party...

It's unfortunately frequent with Hams really
Although we've been lucky that most of ours have had quite a long innings. I put that down to that fact that they've got a huge run (with lots of tubes, sandbaths, woodshavings to burrow in, and so on) and lots of stuff to keep them amused - that plays out with the fact that none of them have been very nibblely.
Our last one (the last of a pair of Roborovskis (now they're, cute) ended up with a lung infection and sounding like Darth Vader, poor thing...
EDIT: Well of course. Every bathroom needs a Marvin...
EDIT 2: A typical Roborovski looking typically pissed off:

Haha, that's a cute picture
I had several hamsters as a kid and none of them survived more than about 3 years. I learned pretty early on that sawdust and wood shavings will kill them though as they develop respiratory tract infections or they get mite infestations. The owner of the one I'm looking after at the moment has not figured this out yet and thus has a sneezy rabbit, scratchy hamster and bags and bags of sawdust.
Big runs for them are cool though, I must admit. This one has a guinea pig cage cluttered with crap that it doesn't use as it's all blocking everything else. I'll remove a lot of it when I clean his cage at the weekend.
Off to bed. Night
I still say rats are better; live longer, are vastly more intelligent and can be litter box trained.
