Tell me of your teenage woes. Did Geri leaving the Spice Girls break your heart? When Kylie and Jason got married, did you poke screwdrivers into your ears to avoid listening to Angry Anderson?

Joyous Thursdays - I always used to go clubbing on a Thursday. Student rock/indie nights, cheeky birds, cheap beer, 3 hours sleep then work.

I never really had teenage woes
The only really down moment I recall from that time was Kurt munching on the shotgun, being a grunge/ greebo at the time I was gutted. I also had tickets to see them in Manchester a week after he killed himself which I got a refund on and then found out that within months they were being sold as memorabilia for a small fortune.
Alt: Yep same as Thursday was always a great night out

Alt. My local shithole used to do £1 drink nights on thursdays. Everything was a £1 not just some shit lager. Rum and coke £1. Shot of single malt £1 etc. They'd put a band on too. I used to go out every Thursday and every Friday work was a write off. Until the filth put a stop to our fun by telling them they couldn't sell drinks for a quid any more and they upped the price to £1.50!

Geri was an attention seeking, fame hungry whore and her desperation reeked.
Saying that, she made some of the most iconic sights in recent pop music and it was never the same when she left.
She was much better when she looked like a drag queen than anorexic.
Im upset now. I may be some time.

I didn't really have many proper teenage woes.
There was a fleeting moment when I realised my sexuality and kept it hidden until my mates came out on 6th Form, then all bets were off.
Queer as Folk was on the telly too so it was cool.
alt. Club I used to go to did Bladder Burst on a wednesday. 5 quid in and drinks free all night. There was always an ambulance and riot van on standby.

My teenage woes generally tended to be based around
'why does no-one want to go out with a chubby, spotty, four-eyed, untrendy swot?'
How times have changed, eh?
Alt: Thursdays are universal student nights. I missed the memo as to why.

I remember girls at school being upset about s club.
Being one of those kids who thought he was too cool for new music I never really got upset about bands as all my idols were well over the hill. I actually wore a velvet jacket. I was a shit 13 yr old. Thank god I found drugs and black metal at 15 or who knows where I'd be now.
