If it was my dads arsehole however.... Yeah, I know what you mean about the caves though. My wife has a few books about the place, I was sat there reading through when I came across the caves, decided I wanted to visit years ago and I've finally managed to convince her.
It's a strange country, some of it is achingly beautiful, whilst some of it is beyond shit. Although they're utter cunts to the romany population, which is fantastic.

Not expensive at all. We're flying from Luton, two adults and one kid cost us less than £150, hotels are dirt cheap out there too until you get to ski season. You're right on the Polish border and the scenery in that area is astounding.
