So I was asked earlier by my son what I thought was the best landmark/building in Briton….god that was a hard one there are just so many.
Because I had to give an answer and knowing his course he will probably have to visit it and take pictures I said Lincoln Cathedral…so what in your opinion is the best landmark/building in Briton?
Alt: The takeaway thing in a thread yesterday made me realise that I’ve not had a takeaway for quite a while, so I’ve purchased one of them chicken dumplings, you know the ones...the size of musk melons covered in a spicy gravy (I'm sure that I may have mentioned them once before) to eat later, what will you be having later?

Nottingham Castle has to be the most disappointing castle I've ever been to
and that includes one in Scotland that was just half a wall on a hill.

The cathedral in Wells is really good as well. I also like the St Pancras hotel, I'd love to stay in there sometime but I imageine it'd be rather expensive.

Wow cheers RS,
Both excellent choices I watched something the other week on about the state of disrepair the houses were in.
Lincoln was chosen purely because I can drive there in about an hour but also an incredibly beautiful building.

I don't know if it's just because they're ours, but British buildings seem a bit dull compared to grand European ones.

I love the old Roman views in Bath.

Varous Cathederals and Churches. Manchesters looks like it was ripped from a Harry Potter book.
Whitby is very quaint.
