Not as much

I've been teaching what can only be described as a bunch of cunts today.
Tomorrow I have an interview first thing so I have to get myself prepared for that tonight.

Evening.....
I have just intimated to my parents that I'm going to get a new kitchen fitted in our flat....long overdue, we can afford it, and don't have the time to do it myself as I'm away for lengthy periods at short notice (although would if I had the time). Why oh why oh why have I just been made to feel guilty by being "extravagant"? I think I already know the answer but GAAAAH! they drive me nuts sometimes.
P.S. The jokes in OT this afternoon have been nothing short of superb btw.

Helloes *waves*
Today I:
1. Missed a dentist appointment
2. Forgot to put deodorant on
3. Couldn't start my car
4. Got a jump start from the neighbours and dropped off the form for the job I really really really want.
5. Managed to start my car again and made it into town in good time for my interview
6. Was given wrong directions
7. Was late for interview
8. Was "assessed" doing silly things
9. Got the job. But part time. Bugger.
10. Squirted petrol all over my shoes, smart trousers and coat
11. Came home to find ex cleaning my windows. Invited him in for a brew, forgetting I had written "'Ex' is poo" on the fridge...*
I was giggling by stage 6. And tipped over into hysteria by stage 10. (I quite like hysteria, it's good fun).
*He agreed. We talked. Feel better for it. Not sure how he feels.

Am currently in a hotel with crappy Wifi-reception, and have managed to find a cheap studio-flat (I still have to be vetted by the landlady but hopefully, I should be getting it). Hope things are back to normal at your end.

It's her parents car
and it's going to be easier for them to not go through the insurance companies and just pay to get the door replaced themselves (providing it's not too expensive).
Which seems really shit to me since the twunt that hit her gets away with driving like a cock and they have to shell out.
I have suggested just asking the bloke to do the decent thing and contribute to the cost of the repairs. I think I would feel obliged to do something similar if I was in his situation, but then again, in his situation I would have looked where I was fucking driving before smashing into someone else's car.

If he did it, it's his fault, then get his insurance to pay out for it. You mentioned having to pay excess in the other thread I think? - surely not if it's a claim on his insurance only?
If being reasonable fails then send the boys round his house. Tried and tested method. At the very least, damage his car to approx 4x the value of the damage to yours. It won't teach him not to be a prick but it'll give you that nice smug sense of satisfaction.

Hi Madame Poultry
How are you?
@Miasma - yes it was his fault, but if they claim on his insurance they will write off the car as it's only worth a few hundred quid. Her parents will then have to purchase the car back from the insurers which has implications on teh cost of insuring it. So it would end up cheaper in the long run to just pay to get it repaired.
His car wasn't damaged and it also was a company car covered by a company insurance policy so it makes no difference to him whether they claim or not. Which makes it all the more frustrating.
Personally I would love to cunt him in the fuck but Mrs al doesn't approve of such things.

Nope - still there!
I tried to be slightly subtle...
In the 'Uses' section:
Many consumer devices use Wi-Fi. Amongst others, personal computers can network to each other and connect to the Internet, mobile computers can connect to the Internet from any Wi-Fi hotspot, and digital cameras can transfer images wirelessly.
Routers which incorporate a DSL-modem or a cable-modem and a Wi-Fi access point, often set up in homes and other premises, provide Internet-access and internetworking to all devices connected (wirelessly or by cable) to them. One can also connect Wi-Fi devices in ad-hoc mode for client-to-client connections without a router. Wi-Fi also enables places which would traditionally not have network to be connected, for example bathrooms, kitchens and garden sheds. The 'father of Wi-Fi', Vic Hayes, stated that being able to access the internet whilst answering a call of nature was 'one of life's most liberating experiences.'

I love caffeine but only in coffee.
@ Lusty - you were worth every single penny and more. I'd have given you at least 35p - more for all the cakies! They were ace.

If you lot
think you're getting a good deal for 27p You should see what you'd get for a packet of frazzles and a can of sprite.

I'm afraid
I'm going to have to take Clendrix's quote completely out of context there:
"I'll do it for free"
Which sounds good to me.

I don't think Lusty has anything at all to reproach herself for...
Saturday night was a fab night. It had everything -
booze
cakes
children in costumes
hats
steps to fall over
And many, many people got rather tired and emotional.

I'm ok thanks, went to the cinema with a mate, then for some food with him and his girlfriend.
So...
I'll write a proper review tomorrow, but "Mirrors" gets 5/10.

I saw the trailer for the remake of [rec]...
Shaky at best.
Main actress looks to be "his sister from Dexter".

Pea from earlier
coz I'm too lazy to type it all again :)
Today I:
1. Missed a dentist appointment
2. Forgot to put deodorant on
3. Couldn't start my car
4. Got a jump start from the neighbours and dropped off the form for the job I really really really want.
5. Managed to start my car again and made it into town in good time for my interview
6. Was given wrong directions
7. Was late for interview
8. Was "assessed" doing silly things
9. Got the job. But part time. Bugger.
10. Squirted petrol all over my shoes, smart trousers and coat
11. Came home to find ex cleaning my windows. Invited him in for a brew, forgetting I had written "'Ex' is poo" on the fridge...*
I was giggling by stage 6. And tipped over into hysteria by stage 10. (I quite like hysteria, it's good fun).
*He agreed. We talked. Feel better for it. Not sure how he feels.

I'm surprisingly unknackered
despite the lack of sleep. Energy breeds energy I spose.
Either that or I'm still hysterical.
Kaol, I know! I wrote it (with my big magnetic letters) the other day in a fit of childish pique, and it made me feel better.
He actually walked past it today without seeing it, but when I went to the fridge to get the milk I realised it was still there, started giggling and trying to rearrange the letters before he spotted it... he saw the "ex is" bit and said "ex is... what?"...
So I told him it said "ex is poo" and he sighed and said "yeah... ex IS poo."
Which was a rather good way to start a deep and meaningful conversation as it turned out.

I'm only on speaking terms with one of my exes
Not that I've had legions of girlfriends, but still. People skills aren't really my forte.
Most recent one not included in above calculation as still residing in big box marked 'DO NOT THINK ABOUT' at back of brain.
Strangely I thought someone off this very board might be one of my exes (that I haven't spoken to for several years) earlier, a bit of profile reading reveals this is probably not the case though.
Edit: Heating's for jessies! Put more clothes on!
I'm over hot most of the time, it's only recently got cold enough for me to start wearing jumpers. And I'm one of those irritating people who wears shorts all year round, fnarr fnarr. Must be my farming ancestry.

See, I don't like jumpers
So I'm wearing a t shirt, a shirt and a leather jacket.
They've lit the fire in the other room, but that's not where my computer is!
Ex-stuff... It's all down to the individual situation. My ex is one of the loveliest people I've ever met, and I'm still good friends with her. My ex ex was a waste of time, and the's the one I had a situation with tonight.

Not that it's worthy of a prize or anything...
Control Freak Ex and I shared a house for a year and a half after we split. This involved frequent 24 hour long arguments, being held hostage, occasional violence, and a nervous breakdown for me.
"Ex is poo" is fucking his head up with mercenary ventures involving other women. He may be making himself mentally ill. He still wants to marry me. I still want to kill him and sex him at the same time :/
