Lots of mind bleach (and possibly weapons) needed!Sometimes the scary girl from one of the offices downstairs tries to chat me up. I try and ignore her/run away, because her chatting up tactics consist of talking about manga, live action role play with swords and shit bands I've never heard of. She's also not, erm, easy on the eye.
She's just come into my office (I was hoping the force field on the door would keep such apparitions out) and given me a Christmas card. It is Gothic black (of course), signed with lots of kisses and includes HER MYSPACE ADDRESS AND A PHOTO OF HER!!!
If it wasn't nearly time to go home I'd be locking myself in the server room to hide, I'm telling you. *shudders*
Edit: I've just checked with a few other people and they're averaging about half the amount of kisses in their card, and no Myspace details or photo. I'm feeling very, very afraid...

1) I get WAY too competitive and end up overcooking it on a corner big-style while trying to outbrake someone.
2) I'm not exactly the slightest of chaps, meaning my power/weight ratio is quite poor. This massively hurts acceleration out of corners.

 GAAAAAAAH!
GAAAAAAAH!This morning, I got up. All seemed to go well. Had breakfast, checked to see if my washing had dried, wrote a few sentences for my latest QOTW entry, and finally got round to fixing the zip on my bag.
I had left just enough time to get to work on time, so I exited my flat and looked where my bike should be ... and ... emptiness. No bike to be seen. At first, I wondered if I had left it elsewhere, but then, I saw the lock. On closer inspection, it had been cut clean through. Some fucker's nicked my bike!!! AAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Left with no bike, I had no choice but to take the bus. At least I learned that if I can see the bus at the previous bus-stop, if I jog, I can make it to the next bus-stop on time, but the bus spent ages halfway along the route waiting for the replacement driver to turn up. Thankfully, nobody seemed to mind I was late for work.

When I moved in, my landlady had a hook specially built that I could tie my bike to. She assured me it would be safe there.
The worse thing is that just 3 weeks ago, I took it into the bike shop to get my brakes and front-gear fixed. Thank god I didn't splash out on the full overhaul!
I've still got my sliced through lock. Is it worth using it for fingerprints/DNA?

I thought they'd be up your street
I thought they'd be up your streetMake sure the only post-1970 album you go near is Blood on the Tracks. Think of the children!

Blood on the tracks is ace
Blood on the tracks is aceI do tend to like indivudal tracks after that. Even some of his God-period stuff is decent.

 Hey Dok
Hey Dokit's tomorrow. Still 2 years on the right side of 40...
Not that tomorrow will be particularly eventful, as I'm currently residing in the house of the living dead. Everyone is ill! Except me.

 Yeah...
Yeah...Thread killing isn't such a bad offence at 11pm though!
To be fair, if you look back over the evening threads, I kill most of 'em.
But I see it as "putting them down" rather than "threadkilling".

Hi Kaol! Mercy killing for their own good, is it?That exhibition sounds like something I've never even considered being interested in but would find immensely interesting if I went.
I'm drinking whisky as well (not whiskey), cheers! *raises glass*
What are you trying to do to Photoshop piston_broke?

Convince it that it is in fact, legal and legit
Convince it that it is in fact, legal and legitWhen it clearly isn't. Mind you, got it working now. Just a question of finding the right file.
Oh, and if people are fed up of constant Christmas songs, I recommend the following:

Haha!
The exhibition was cool, I went with someone who's training to be a physio, so learned all kinds of interesting things from her too!
I've stopped drinking now, as I'm having bits drilled out of my jaw tomorrow, so don't wanna bleed more than is needed.

 Ah, right
Ah, right'Thank you for activating this copy of Photoshop over the telephone'
Admittedly I've only got CS2 at home, has it got any more difficult since then? I've got CS4 in work (paid for, not by me) and much prefer it, not that I have any skills in using it...

 I use CS2
I use CS2Because I got it for free.
And I'd say I'm pretty "Photoshop-competent".
So... Yeah, CS2 has always done all the things that I need it to. But I'd upgrade given the chance.

 Evening all
Evening allI run cs2 on my pc, and cs3 on my mac. I do like cs2 though, does everything I need it to.
And from what I hear, cs4 isn't that much better than cs3, just has some unnecessary extra tools.
Are we all well here tonight?
