 Morning VC
Morning VCI have to go to work in a bit. I'm trying to decide whether I have the energy to make sandwiches or whether to get something at work.
Monday mornings suck. I suppose it could be worse; at least I'm not hungover.

Today I will mostly be working in a quiet office and dossing here, then taking a long walk home to work on a Web site and get an early night. I might play some Tiberium Wars if I so fancy.

 G'morning
G'morningI rarely eat anything that isn't spicy now, food tastes too bland when it doesn't have a bit of a kick to it.
What's upsetting is that 90% of the Thai restaurants I've been to in the UK tone the spice down. I got used to proper, full spice Thai food in Thailand, and now I have to pay ten times the price to get something with a fraction of the kick/taste.
Thankfully my Da' cooks amazing Thai food ;)

 Morning Lab
Morning LabI know what you mean, although I've tried to ration my chili intake for fear of not finding my favourite foods interesting without that kick. But I'm still getting through one standard bottle of tabasco a week, and a few fresh chilis.

There's a Mexican restaurant hereabouts to which my parents took my sister for her birthday last year, so I was there too. Having been in numerous good Mexican restaurants in he US, I was expecting it to be good.
It was actually quite good, but it was also very bland. I had to cut up the chillis on the garnish and mix them in just to get a bit of kick into the food!

 Very well, thanks Lab
Very well, thanks Lab@V-cat - if you manage to visit the USA, it's full of really good Mexican restaurants. I assume it's because there's quite a large immigrant Mexican population, in the same way as we in the UK are spoiled for choice with Indian curry houses because we have quite a large Indian population here.
The rule about Mexican food though is that it's really all the same ingredients. The only differences are geometric. The topology of the meal varies, but the substance is the same!

Morning TGB!Ooo, Asian vs Oriental, I had a debate with my tattooist and his wife about this (while being tattood).
She claimed that Oriental was a mildly offensive term, and the correct term was Asian. The tattooist and myself said Asian included, well, all those from Asia, while Oriental refers to China, Japan, Thailand etc.

A month ago there was nobody I was interested in and nobody, that I knew of, that was interested in me. Now there are 3 women I'm interested in, 2 of them I know are interested in me and the 3rd is too I think but I can't be certain.
This is so unfair but in such a good way. Bah.

No I'm crossbecause there is no one else in my department as one is "sick" and the other is taking holiday for what sounded like a bullshit reason and my boss had to leave at lunchtime to "work from home" because she had forgot to put water down for her dog which means I am fielding all the phone calls for reacredditation which I know nothing about and when I phone my boss to ask she makes me feel stupid for not already knowing the answer.
I have no fucking idea how the stupid fucking thing works and I'm annoyed. As an understatement.

In further Punching Mong news,he accosted me at the bus stop again at the weekend to ask for change. Naturally I refused. He then went off on a little rant about how he didn't believe that no-one at the bus stop had any money until a chav girl countered with "You calling me a liar, blud?". Then he tried to go to Sainsbury's, but shockingly the security guard wouldn't let him in.
The whole time his nice black velvet jacket was covered with snail-trails of his own snot.

 Iz at home
Iz at homeI think dignity is like those "X days since last accident" signs. So you can have lots of dignity then you throw up on a girl in a pub and you have 0 dignity. But the following week you may have a bit of dignity, the next week a bit more, and so on until you have lots again.
This is why I never have more than 1 dignity.
Edit: this made me laugh so hard I weed a little.
