Mine was Kaol. Way back around 2 years ago we started chatting on QOTW about random shit and he was also the first person I met at a bash. I miss him being on here all the time, but I'm glad he's happy now, even if he is in Wales.

Kaol and I shared a mutual desire to write strange songs drew us together, and he often asked me what I thought of songs his band had done. Good stuff that he's doing well in that strange land now, even if he's never around here.

The other one was our Ancrenne, but she's never really here anymore either, what with being busy and successful and all that.

I'm not sure to be honest.
Probably no one person in particular, it just seemed to happen with a bunch of people at once, including your good self. It was that night at the Cove that seemed to bring everyone together in a big way, even though we'd all been chatting randomly on QOTW threads for ages.

Apart from the few "congrats on winning the QOTW messages"
The first person was Noel. Not only did he point me in the direction of RachelSwipe for advice but he also sent me a message afterwards to make sure everything went ok. It probably because of him that my house purchase went forwards and I am living in this beautiful home.

Wow! I found DiT first!!
My first gazzes were to/from ancrenne and jennymnemonic. They supported my stance against a poster called 'You're all a bunch of twats anyway' when he posted a story on 'Going too far' that appeared to be a tale of abduction and gang rape. Not funny, not clever. Through the medium of gazzing, I found support for my anti-arsehole stance.

I also made contact with Frank Spencer and have had some really good advice from him over the years.

Chickenlady has been my bestet b3tan friend though - must email her again.
