What the fuck are you doing?
Personally, I'm waiting for the baked potatoes to finish cooking and the chilli that was made last week to defrost.
I'm also nursing a glass of wine and a headache (courtesy of falling asleep on the couch last night and ending up there until this morning) that is threatening to make my head fall off, so the wine is probably not such a good idea. However, the prospect of some codeine phosphate before bed is most appealing. I may still have a headache after taking it, but at least I won't care.
How are you whiling away your evening?

I've just noticed that editing a main post seems to affect the reply counter. That's odd.

It happened with your funeral post earlier
and it does it when people edit their original message. I told cr3 a few weeks back and he pretty much dismissed it as close enough so no problem.

You could strangle a commuter every 10 yards or so and leave the remains tied in the plug-flex
That way, it will be like a giant set of Christmas-Tree lights but with strangled commuters instead of lightbulbs.

Reading
the Daily Fail and giggling my tits off at the hate/rage/bile-filled, ill informed comments. Shite for news really but good for a laugh. And it's better than doing the hoovering, which is what I should really be doing.

All Facebook does is connect people.
I use it a lot, but you can get people's contact details from other people in the social group. Facebook's great if you're actively part of a social group but there's so many people you message a few times to catch up and fall out of touch with. It's nice keeping up with people's happenings and if you want to give it a go feel free... It's just that people seem to forget that all the old ways of staying in touch are still available.

If you're desparate for a job
Get the job and once you've settled into a routine, you may find the time to play it. If on the other hand you can survive a bit longer without the job, take the chance to have a Civilization IV splurge.

emails, book ordering, white russian drinking etc.
Then I'm going to try and catch my girl on the phone at a reasonable hour unlike last night where I drunkenly woke her up at 2am.

I've been drinking beer and talking to the new lady friend on the phone for hours. Or more accurately, she talked; I made the occasional grunt to show I was listening.

I'm in the pub with my lovely friend Clare
drinking Jameson and randomly chatting about Gibraltar of all things.
I originally got here at about 3 with my new job paperwork intending to read the contract carefully and stuff like that but ended up reading my book instead so I'll just go ahead and sign it unread, can't be that bad after all! ;)
