I love The Rock
I know I shouldn't, he's hardly an Oscar winning actor and he falls squarely into the Vin Diesel category of typecast characters, but I love him and every film that he is in. I've managed to persuade Wiggy to come and see The Tooth Fairy with me, but he's only agreed because we have unlimited cinema tickets.

Who do you love that you really, really shouldn't. No emo whining about your best friend's girl.

Alternative question, which televised vision of the future do you
hope is true? I want it to be Futurama.

EDIT: Sorry Darth, didn't mean to step on your toes there. Ooh, a dance reference!

Fuck his post
it's even uglier than him
(, Fri 28 May 2010, 12:04, Reply)
harsh words Mr Al.
harsh words indeed.
(, Fri 28 May 2010, 12:07, Reply)
Al so wants me
It manifests in ugly ways
(, Fri 28 May 2010, 12:08, Reply)
like brutal homophobia
and violent cottaging sessions that will end in him crying into his sleeve
(, Fri 28 May 2010, 12:09, Reply)
If mass homphobia was a sign of underlying desire
I could lay claim to most of B3ta wanting me

Except you. How annoying
(, Fri 28 May 2010, 12:13, Reply)
I read that as "crying into his sieve"
and thought that wouldn't be very effective at catching the tears
(, Fri 28 May 2010, 12:14, Reply)
but would be indicative of his despair
at a cruel world.
(, Fri 28 May 2010, 12:19, Reply)
I like this

(, Fri 28 May 2010, 12:21, Reply)
Thanks

(, Fri 28 May 2010, 12:32, Reply)
A tiny bit of me
wants Star Trek to be true. Even though I've seen about three episodes in my entire life.

As to a guilty love for an actor, probably Tom Cruise. In a horrible sort of carcrash way
(, Fri 28 May 2010, 12:06, Reply)
I'm going to put this out there, Tom Cruise is a good actor.

(, Fri 28 May 2010, 12:08, Reply)
You see if you say this
then people laugh at you.

Yet I've seen films where he was really good
(, Fri 28 May 2010, 12:09, Reply)
Tom Cruise was in all the best films of the 80s
Top Gun, Cocktail, Days of Thunder erm.. some more I've forgotten.

I generally think the better his teeth got the more of a crazy cuntoid he became
(, Fri 28 May 2010, 12:25, Reply)
RISKY BUSINESS!!

(, Fri 28 May 2010, 12:28, Reply)
Yes he is
It's just a shame he's a mental
(, Fri 28 May 2010, 12:09, Reply)
I agree
he was brilliant in Interview with a Vampire, it was a completely different role from all the Top Gun style stuff he did.
(, Fri 28 May 2010, 12:10, Reply)
He was really good in that film where robert downey jr blacked up.
edit: Tropic Thunder.
(, Fri 28 May 2010, 12:10, Reply)
I love Robert Downey Junior so much.
He's on my list of 5 people I hope to leave Wiggy for one day. I think he's actually number one. Yes, yes he is.

I loved him in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. Val Kilmer was awesome in that too.
(, Fri 28 May 2010, 12:13, Reply)
I didn't understand that film
and I haven't watched it again, but I did enjoy it.
(, Fri 28 May 2010, 12:14, Reply)
I don't remember not understanding
but that probably means I missed something important.
(, Fri 28 May 2010, 12:18, Reply)
I endorse the first half of this post.

(, Fri 28 May 2010, 12:26, Reply)
he was much better than Brad Pitt in that

(, Fri 28 May 2010, 12:10, Reply)
yeah Brad Pitt was a bit lame.

(, Fri 28 May 2010, 12:12, Reply)
I read the book years and years ago
and Lestat was cooler than Louis anyway
(, Fri 28 May 2010, 12:20, Reply)
yeah definitely
I read the book only recently, it was awesome. I think the film was a good adaptation though.

EDIT: Although they totally missed out the homoeroticism between Louis and Armand
(, Fri 28 May 2010, 12:27, Reply)
and the fact that Armand was supposed to look about 15
the following couple of books are worth a read too, but they become more shit after that.

The Vampire Armand is basically gay vampire paedo fiction
(, Fri 28 May 2010, 12:31, Reply)
hahaha
that's a winning combination. Beats the hell out of Twilight
(, Fri 28 May 2010, 12:39, Reply)
in a similar way he was great in Magnolia
also, see Rain Man for further evidence
(, Fri 28 May 2010, 12:12, Reply)
I don't think I love anyone I shouldn't,
alt answer: Startrek, or BSG (without the massive genocide at the beginning)
(, Fri 28 May 2010, 12:06, Reply)
but if it was BSG
everyone you've ever loved will turn out to be a clone.
(, Fri 28 May 2010, 12:08, Reply)
A hot clone though
a HOT clone.
(, Fri 28 May 2010, 12:09, Reply)
plus starbuck would fall in love with me.

(, Fri 28 May 2010, 12:10, Reply)
yeah but everything would have sad music on in the background all the time
and the same thing would happen week in week out, series after series until you just want to pull the DVD out of the PS3 and punch your boyfriend in the head with it.
(, Fri 28 May 2010, 12:11, Reply)
I will hear nothing bad about bsg,
it has it's flaws but it is still FUCKING EXCELLENT

Really I shouldn't be here at all I have no interst in any of the folowing: Star Trek, Star Wars, Serenity/Firefly, Buffy/Angel/anything by Joss Wheldon, Battlestar Galactica or Heros.

Just thought you should know
(, Fri 28 May 2010, 12:33, Reply)
Do you like the west wing?

(, Fri 28 May 2010, 12:34, Reply)
Never seen it, my Mum loved it
To be honest I never really watch series and series of stuff as I tend to be out when things are on, also my fiance doesn't really watch TV which makes it tricky.

Lost is the only thing I watched from start to finish. oh and "The thick of it"
(, Fri 28 May 2010, 12:38, Reply)
I don't watch TV either because I'm always out so I can't get into a routine of watching weekly shows
I tried to watch Flash Forward but misse the third episdoe and had to give up. Box sets are the way forward.
(, Fri 28 May 2010, 12:44, Reply)
I love the West Wing
and Studio 60.

I hate 30 Rock.
(, Fri 28 May 2010, 12:43, Reply)
Enrique Iglesias
His mainstream latin beats and light poppy ballads go against everything else in my music collection, and Hero was one of the most epically cheesy songs ever, but goshdarnit I do love his music, its so nice to dance to. And he's fit.

Alt Q: Firefly.
(, Fri 28 May 2010, 12:10, Reply)
Firefly would be amazing actually

(, Fri 28 May 2010, 12:11, Reply)
Not if you had to farm mud though.
I'm not sure where abouts I'd want to be, I'd say on Serenity, but so would everyone else.
Working for Badger maybe?
(, Fri 28 May 2010, 12:16, Reply)
I'd like Serenity obviously
but I'd be cool with working in the Core worlds as well
(, Fri 28 May 2010, 12:17, Reply)
I'd get bored in the core, but I couldn't deal with the poverty of the outer planets.
I think Persephone would suit me.
(, Fri 28 May 2010, 12:19, Reply)
Is that the whore planet?

(, Fri 28 May 2010, 12:20, Reply)
Oh Fuck!
I forgot about that! I would fully be a companion, if only so I get to wear all those beautiful clothes that Inara does. Only I'd be able to fight better than her.

(, Fri 28 May 2010, 12:33, Reply)
I like comfort and not being poor
so Core worlds would suit me fine. But it would still be Serenity as first choice
