How the hell am I supposed to get enough clothes, food, supplies and alcohol to last me a week into one fairly small rucksack? Help?
Someone come and do it for me, please? :( Or shall I sack off the clothes and wear nothing but a bikini for a week, hence opening up more space for food and alcohol?
I'm going to shorten this to, "What should I pack into a small rucksack?" This is different to, "What alcohol should I bring to a metal festival?"
And you're in charge of NHS databases *shakes head*

That's the majority of what I'm taking to Bloodstock.
That, a box of wine, and a bottle of Jaeger

I remember getting breakfast on Sunday morning at Download last year and there was hiphop playing on a small CD player.
Me: "That Roots Manuva?"
Cook: "Yeah."
Me: "That sounds so good. I've had nothing but metal for two days straight and I'm going nuts."
Might pack some synth/indie/hiphop CDs in the car.

admittedly I haven't been to many others but I love their line-ups. A tiny bit of variation would be nice but I like diametrically opposed genres - it would just never happen.

they're easy to conceal about your person and they're 80% so sipping them slowly will keep you nicely merry, or downing them will get you fucked.

For some reason that can put away vodka like nobody's business but seem to be strangely susceptible to beer and wine. At least in my limited experience of Russian people.

I drink Jack all the time so that's fairly harmless, but if I have a couple of halves of lager I'll be all light headed. And wine totally fucks me over.

I avoid whiskey and shit like that.
Gin vodka cider, but never mixing all three. Actually that's a lie, I've been known to do that.
I miss the days when I could be blotto on half a bottle of Rose :(

you're getting harangued by some goddamned hippy as it has a 20p redemption value. I found myself ripping up my empties just to be left alone.

And for the Alt Q, if you're looking for maxiumum alcohol content (and something pretty tasty) I'd go with Absinthe - The La Fee Absinthe is pretty tasty but yeah, be carefull with that stuff it is a bit lethal.

In my first year of uni, but it's so expensive (£25 for 500ml anyone?) and if you try to drink it while sober, don't expect to be able to speak without sounding hoarse for a few minutes.

Who buy a £5 two-litre liquid pouch back-pack type thing that runners use, with the giant straw. So I can safely conceal cheap spirits under my hoody as I go into the "arena".
Pros: Cheap booze in the arena
Cons: Once it's finished you kind of have to wander around with an annoying damp, empty small backpack. Well actually I chucked mines away in the end but still..
Drink of choice was 50% Vodka, 50% Tesco 'Kick' (roughly)
P.s. nice flag

I think that was the first alcoholic drink I had and liked. I might even prefer it to Gin. But it's so expensive :(
