Abandoning the accountants and lawyers sounds like no bad thing

(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 20:42, 2 replies, latest was 15 years ago)
some of them were quite young and funny
they work in forensics, so they are like the cool kids
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 20:43, Reply)
Ah, the one good area of chemistry
And the one that lets scientists see horrific things.
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 20:44, Reply)
well
in accountancy it's more looking through the books to see if they are hiding horrific things.

eg: man is in car crash. he can't work and his business goes down the tubes. he claims it was worth £4M a year and he had another 30 years of work ahead of him. we send in the forensic accountants. they prove it was actually haemorrhaging cash and therefore his loss is much much smaller.
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 20:46, Reply)
it's no CSI

(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 20:48, Reply)
less blood
just as much acting sometimes though
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 20:51, Reply)
CSI is the shittest fucking tv show in the history of ever

(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 20:54, Reply)
i think
that has to be jackass. but CSI is also shit.
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 20:55, Reply)
CSI : NY is alright
apart from Lindsay
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 20:55, Reply)
I have seen neither.
I do not feel as if I am missing out on anything.
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 20:57, Reply)
dunno who that is
but really, gary sinese, worst one liners ever
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 21:01, Reply)
It's better than the others
not really a fan of crime/forensics shows though
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 21:02, Reply)
I was into NCIS there for a while but have dropped off, they get a bit cheesy after a while

(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 21:04, Reply)
i've actually never seen it

(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 20:59, Reply)

can't believe people get paid to act that badly
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 21:00, Reply)
CSI is fantastic.

(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 21:50, Reply)
If they are all as hot as 'swipe then running away is your best bet. That much hotness will melt one's face.

(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 20:45, Reply)
*Engage Pandatron*
To paraphrase the B52s, she's so hot she sets off fire alarms.
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 20:46, Reply)
who's pandering?
The truth is not a panda.
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 20:47, Reply)

(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 20:51, Reply)

(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 20:54, Reply)

Bad times.
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 21:19, Reply)

(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 21:24, Reply)
Jeff hasn't got blue balls has he?

(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 21:26, Reply)
No. I haven't got blue balls.
I've got pink ones! (Meaning Swipe would be too tall to use them or something).
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 21:29, Reply)
What else are you waiting on now?
Also, does the blue ball clash with everything else or not?
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 21:30, Reply)

(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 21:41, Reply)
I don't know.
It might have been a sick joke by the kids in the sweat shop to start sneeking the odd pair of 'Baboons' into each shipment.

How close were you to winning the treasure hunt?
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 21:43, Reply)
don't know
only the winner got read out. we got all the answers right but we only sourced 8/10 objects. however i am pleased with the "find something french". i hoicked a menu out of the cafe rouge window - total stealth theft.
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 21:46, Reply)
We did one at a company I worked at once.
One of the things we had to 'collect' was something random.

I paid a tramp 20 Lamberts and 4 pints to agree to be 'collected'.

He fucking stank.
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 21:49, Reply)
that is quite random though

(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 21:51, Reply)
And they wouldn't let me use him as my random item
because I'd paid him (and he stank, was clearly pissed and didn't have a clue what was going on).

What objects were you missing?
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 21:54, Reply)
a ball of wool
and a newspaper with yesterday's date on it.

my colleague even went through several binliners. nada.
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 21:56, Reply)
I blame the internet

(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 21:57, Reply)
for anything in particular?
or just life in general
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 22:06, Reply)
For you not being able to find a newspaper

(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 22:11, Reply)

(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 22:23, Reply)
Ah!
Y'see, I blame you for that.
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 22:32, Reply)
I'd have submitted a jumper.
And a bag of chips.

WIN.
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 21:59, Reply)

(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 20:58, Reply)
It's sad because it's true

(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 21:11, Reply)
technically
it was the sheets that were ruined. the duvet had been flung elsewhere during the evening's activities.
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 21:18, Reply)

evening's activities animalistic sex

(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 21:32, Reply)
only one of you is correct

(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 21:33, Reply)
I think it's Zo

(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 21:36, Reply)
you'd be Wrong
but never mind, good effort
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 21:37, Reply)
Me too.
It's patently obvious; the enemy saw the magnitude of the fort, and shit themselves in fear at the realisation of the futility of their efforts.
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 21:38, Reply)
I don't know what kind of fort swipe might construct
but I'll hazard a guess at pink. I don't think it would result in emergency evacuation though. Maybe rswipe snores at a peculiar frequency and occasionally hits The Brown Note.
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 21:47, Reply)
hey i only snore if i am allergic to something
or possibly reeeeally drunk
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 21:52, Reply)
She was partaking in a bit of scat play
And it got a bit out of hand.

(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 21:57, Reply)
Now now swipe
Anal leakage is nothing to get embarrassed about.
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 21:59, Reply)
this is actually untrue on many levels!

(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 22:06, Reply)
Well, yes, you should be embarrassed I suppose
Also, please don't turn me into a boat.
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 22:09, Reply)
i'll turn you into whatever i like
if you keep making comments like that!
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 22:23, Reply)
Ah now hang on a minute
we're all modern open-minded people and all but there is definitely something wrong with uncontrolled dribbling of arse-gravy on the Egyptian cotton.
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 22:09, Reply)
yes
even on the argos 2 thread count
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 22:23, Reply)
and what would i sit on then?
good point.
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 20:47, Reply)
Precisely.
That's my girl.
(, Wed 22 Sep 2010, 20:47, Reply)
