Natural selection
as I drove my usual trip down to Cornwall I realised it was the Run To The Sun festival at Newquay this weekend. Plenty of VW minibuses did I see on the M5, and ALL STILL MOVING. None broken down at all, unlike previous years. I can only guess that this is a prime example of survival of the fittest. The broken ones have been weeded out over the last few festivals.

What is your prime survival trait? What are you the best at amongst all the people you know?
(, Sat 23 May 2009, 18:48, archived)
erm, I don't think I'm the best at anything really
perhaps I keep good company or am just a bit shit at everything. I fear I'm the later.

Being the best at something
isn't a particularly good survival trait. Being average is far better. You only need to procreate once for your genes to carry on, so keep your head down and don't draw attention to yourself and chances are you'll manage at least one fuck trophy.

being the sexiest is presumably a survuval trait then
at which I fail.
(, Sat 23 May 2009, 18:55, archived)
Sexiness is defined by what the human species requires to survive
I assume we only find large(ish) knockers hot because it means they'll probably be be able to provide more milk for a child (would some like to prove this for me with science?)
(, Sat 23 May 2009, 18:57, archived)
I am researching this
with visual reference material from Nuts.
(, Sat 23 May 2009, 18:58, archived)
Not necessarily true.
Sometimes sexiness can be defined by what's available on a Saturday night through an alcoholic haze just before the club closes and you face the prospect of having to go home on your own again but would really like to get laid.

oh christ no
don't remind me.

This is why I can no longer set foot in the district of Denton, Manchester.

It's a fairly universal anecdote.
But at least it has always helped me pull drunk women.
(, Sat 23 May 2009, 19:06, archived)
Nope.
They're most likely purely decorative. Selected by sexual preference. Cave men were boob men. Other apes don't have knockers and they need to produce the same relative amount of milk.

Mmmmm norks.

They don't?

(, Sat 23 May 2009, 19:03, archived)
Ah yes, but the norks of all mamillia swell when rearing their young.
I would have thought that larger norks would give a hint to the amount of swelling that would occur. I'm just speculating, but if I can use science to justify staring at norks, then so be it!
(, Sat 23 May 2009, 19:03, archived)
Or maybe we see large norks as being "already swollen" so it becomes attractive because it's proof of fertility

(, Sat 23 May 2009, 19:05, archived)
I thought you preferred budding norks.

(, Sat 23 May 2009, 19:05, archived)
They swell because they've got milk in.
Little boobs swell too.
(, Sat 23 May 2009, 19:11, archived)
Like I mentioned above
it may be the idea of already being swollen that attracts males. I could be wrong, but hey, it's a theory.
(, Sat 23 May 2009, 19:13, archived)
So that's why men like big swollen bellies on women
it's clear.
(, Sat 23 May 2009, 19:16, archived)

No, it isn't.
