hah, classic dr preference wit here

(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 15:37, archived)
i had a duck burger

(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 15:38, archived)
I was going to buy a duck yesterday, but there was something else in the butcher's shop which looked better.

(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 15:40, archived)
duck burger sounds brilliant!
why did I never think of having a duck burger before?
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 15:41, archived)
because it doesnt exist.
It will be seagull, or maybe catfood burger, but not duck.

There are no ducks in cardiff, the one-eyed ones from Cwmbran stole them all.
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 15:43, archived)
I don't live in Cardiff.
Anyway what the fuck are you jabbering on about?
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 15:44, archived)
Well, you wont be able to get one
from the international food festival in Cardiff if you arent there will you?

You'll have to make your own, out of catfood and toilet roll.
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 15:46, archived)
I don't even

(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 15:47, archived)
LOLWAKI

(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 16:24, archived)
I must say, your hard-hitting and edgy posts certainly don't pull any punches.

(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 15:46, archived)
Thats because ...
the edgiest bloke in the whole of Wiltshire, oh yeah.

we'll really be rocking this thatched cottage tonight, and causing mild annoyance to my comfortably well-off neighbours.

You dont get edgier than that,
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 15:49, archived)
Oh, Wiltshire,
and what great cities does Wiltshire boast of? SWINDON?

Fuck off.
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 15:53, archived)
And Mere, dont forget Mere.
Better than Newport (probably)
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 15:58, archived)
I fully reserve the right to forget Mere.
Actually I've never even heard of it.
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 15:59, archived)
I've been to paradise, but I've never been to Mere.

(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 16:16, archived)
what the fuck has newport got to do with any of this?

(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 16:00, archived)
Newport ...
Is simply a shit version of cardiff, but people from cardiff still find it dangerously foreign and a bit exciting.
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 16:16, archived)
I like the way you're naming various places and calling them shit.

(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 16:22, archived)
i like the way he clearly has no idea what he's talking about too,
the idea that people from cardiff find newport anything other than like a slightly retarded little brother is quite something.
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 16:28, archived)
He's well and truly made a laughing stock of you and your country.

(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 16:30, archived)
imma have to move now!
this is a disaster.
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 16:31, archived)
Oh man, now do Scotland!

(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 16:25, archived)
Offal, Alcohol and Heroin!

(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 16:34, archived)
really?
what the fuck do you think you're banging on about?
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 16:27, archived)
weird, there were ducks swimming about right next to where i bought the duck burger

(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 15:59, archived)
they must have been leopards in disguise

(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 16:00, archived)
i mean, being as it was, and as i have previously stated,
the "International food festival" it is entirely possible that said duck burgers were not from Cardiff anyway, since I hear that there is a lot of other places other than Cardiff.
anyway, I took a photo of the board that caught my eye

(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 16:02, archived)
the phrase "duck hot dogs" makes my brain itch

(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 16:03, archived)
pure class isnt it!

(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 16:04, archived)
we had Kangaroo burgers the other week,
that's good stuff that is.
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 16:05, archived)
it is like a rump steak but meatier and bloodier and just damn sexy,
well i had kangaroo steak anyway, i imagine the burgers to be the same but more burgery.
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 16:06, archived)
yeah and the sausages,
which were more sausagey.
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 16:07, archived)
No you didn't
If it was in Cardiff, it might have been called Duck, but it will have been segull. Or leopard.
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 15:42, archived)
and segull is deump.

(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 15:43, archived)
Stephen Segull.

(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 15:43, archived)
Now, I would eat that
in a burger, obviously

but he would have to be very dead.
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 15:44, archived)
yeh, fuck off you fat faggot.

(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 16:00, archived)
Because it's much cheaper to get a seagull or leopard than it is to get a duck.
There are a couple of star'd resturants in cardiff, and I'm sure there are plenty of rosettes going around too.
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 16:02, archived)
where i work, for instance,
is now in the running for best pub food in the uk, there are plenty of other restaraunts with rosettes and stars too if you like that sort of thing.
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 16:04, archived)
you wont win
Cardiff is not in the UK,

we disowned it.
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 16:19, archived)
I like to think every city has its good bits, there wouldn't be a city without them, as the whole point of them is generally to house a huge population around and industry, which brings in wealth and luxories.
I can't say I've ever been to wales, but I think I would enjoy it, espesh if Gobs was there.
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 16:25, archived)
Just avoid Cardiff, Newport and Cwmbran
The rest of it IS quite nice.

You should go to Hay on Wye too, it is awesome.
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 16:27, archived)
cardiff was in time magazine's top ten places to visit,
in a list of like, less well known places or something,
it is pure class, you'd love it.
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 16:30, archived)
i didn't realise that this discussion had anything to do with what country cardiff was in

(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 16:29, archived)
Star'd restaurants in Cardiff?
When you say "star'd" you mean by the local health inspector?

Doe they serve a decent rat?
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 16:15, archived)
Hahaha oh man you are certainly posting some words there!

(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 16:33, archived)
Oh my goodness, what was it like ? What sort of condiments came with it?
Did you see/try anything else awesome?
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 16:00, archived)
i had lobster tail and cockles, both pretty good,
my son the doveston tried some chilli sauce that was meant to be you know, one of the strongest available, anyway he did himself a mischief with the stuff, had to get him an ice cream, which by the way was absolutely lush, from the mendips, lush ice cream. also i tried a margarita slush puppy thing, which was pretty good.
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 16:05, archived)
Oh lovely ! I totally dig lobster so hard that it hurts, it's my fave meat.
I'm gonna google up mendips. I know it's not even close on the same scale, but ASDA do "Bubblegum" flavoured ice lollys (they're creamy though) which are well good.
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 16:23, archived)
you should come visit next year, for the food festival,
it is lush, you'd totally love it.
