Haha willy.

(, Wed 29 Jan 2014, 15:07, archived)
are you allowed to say that on a family forum?

(, Wed 29 Jan 2014, 15:25, archived)
Hello, Julian.

(, Wed 29 Jan 2014, 15:29, archived)
the stock market crash might be this week

(, Wed 29 Jan 2014, 15:32, archived)
What should I invest in when the time comes?
Serious financial advice please, mgt.
(, Wed 29 Jan 2014, 15:33, archived)
I don't know,
have to wait and see what goes cheap, the housing bubble will probably burst again at some point though, thinking about selling up before deflation kicks in, wouldn't want a mortgage when that happens, but I'm not really looking at how to get rich tbh.
(, Wed 29 Jan 2014, 15:37, archived)
wait does this mean it might be a good time to buy a house soon or that it wont be a good time to buy a house soon?
and by soon i mean when the bubble bursts
(, Wed 29 Jan 2014, 15:46, archived)
it'll be a good time to buy if you don't need a mortgage to do so,
otherwise it'll be a little iffy.
(, Wed 29 Jan 2014, 15:50, archived)
oh ok never mind then

(, Wed 29 Jan 2014, 15:52, archived)
Prices will drop, but no one will lend you any money.
Probably a good time to have a mattress stuffed with used notes.
(, Wed 29 Jan 2014, 15:50, archived)
yep,
worse than that, if you have a mortgage and deflation happens, prices and wages drop and you could quickly find that you can't afford the repayments on it
(, Wed 29 Jan 2014, 15:53, archived)
That's ever so reassuring.
I think I'm pretty well insured, though, so I could probably fake my death, for the benefit of the kids.
(, Wed 29 Jan 2014, 15:57, archived)
i am starting to think that buying a house isn't all its cracked up to be or at least used to be

(, Wed 29 Jan 2014, 16:06, archived)
It's a pretty good idea if you did it about 15 years ago.
Or 30 years ago, come to that.
(, Wed 29 Jan 2014, 16:33, archived)
Buy shares in communism.

(, Wed 29 Jan 2014, 15:38, archived)
Why hasn't Robert Peston mentioned this?!

(, Wed 29 Jan 2014, 15:49, archived)
dunno maybe he's not as clever as me

(, Wed 29 Jan 2014, 15:50, archived)
Are you clever?
I thought you were one of those crazy people who are occasionally correct?
(, Wed 29 Jan 2014, 15:52, archived)
isn't that what clever means?
oh well.
(, Wed 29 Jan 2014, 15:53, archived)
If you could slaughter a pig,
dress yourself in its innards, then divine the future from the state of the carcass, whilst high on plant-derived narcotics, I'd be more inclined to believe your predictions.
(, Wed 29 Jan 2014, 16:01, archived)
hahahahaha

(, Wed 29 Jan 2014, 15:40, archived)
