It used to be cool when I was a junior doctor to tell people what I did for a living. Now my profession has been so vilified by the press and successive governments here that outside of work I avoid telling people what I do as it just attracts complaints about how hard it is to get an appointment and how useless GPs are today.

Actually did buy a Honda Accord in New Zealand 7 years ago.
Just needed a vehicle for a couple of months, and that came up. Best £900 I ever spent, and sold it for the same price in Aukland after 6 weeks, result
