Sad news: I'm having to cancel the hedgehog sumo project due to badgers.
No hedgehogs have been spotted near me since the badger incident, and no hedgehogs means no hedgehog wrestling.
There were 4 or 5 hogs regularly attending the garden, all presumed dead now. Perhaps if a new colony or business establishes itself by the end of summer the project can be revived, but I wouldn't hold much hope for that.
So sorry for the anticlimax.
