Afternoon.
All racists are cunts.

All who tolerate racism are racist cunts.

All those who oppose anti-racism are racist cunts.

We'd all benefit if YOU stopped being racist, or at least stopped expressing your racism in public.

Cheers.

Is stealing wrong, too?
What about going up to random children and kicking them in the face? Is that OK, or is that a bad thing that only naughty people do?
(, Sat 13 Jun 2020, 14:24, archived)
This looks like soft opposition to anti-racism.
I understand that it's tricky to attack me for being dull without implying that the message itself is boring.

One day there won't be such a thing as hero worship any more.
Rolf Harris diddled kids and Winston Churchill thought the Indians were subhuman...if it emerges that Stephen Fry is the head of an animal cruelty ring, British society as a whole will probably just give up and stop caring.
(, Sat 13 Jun 2020, 9:29, archived)

Who hero worships Rolf Harris? That's spectacularly unambitious.
(, Sat 13 Jun 2020, 9:37, archived)
He was sort of a hero figure in many people's childhoods,
writing songs for children, raising awareness of the cause of sick animals...generally wholesome things that in most people's minds are incompatible with being a nonce predator. Maybe Jimmy Savile would have been a better example.

1 x massive t-bone

Their dad's sending us another case of wine, AND my bbq vortex turned up this morning.

I disagree
It's a long time ago since the first series but my abiding memory is thinking that the main joke was "This old guy burps and farts a lot! Ahhahahaah!", and it being tedious and childish.

The train episode in the last half-series was absolutely superb. It didn't just break the fourth wall, it deconstructed the trope of meta-referencial narrative in way I've never seen, building well beyond earlier attempts at a similar idea in previous series.

They weren't all up to that standard. I enjoyed even the weaker ones but maybe if I'd watched more of the show recently they'd feel a bit tired. But I think the good bits were worth it.
