we have a coffee van come round and a chap i work with gets really excited about having his cappuccino, this particular morning it was pretty much all he talked about until the dixie horn sounded and off he shot to get his fix, i think he was too excited and in his verve to sit down and have a nice coffee he did this -

EDIT: I've heard if you bury wet electronic devices in dry rice for a time, all the moisture will be sucked out=device works ok again
I can imagine exceptions to that, however

we did strip the laptop down completely and got all the coffee out, i think something shorted on the motherboard cos everything else works ok and it's all dried out now

Sat next to someone with dexterity problems, she regularly spilled her tea. I became quite proficient in stripping down ergonomic keyboards, rinsing them out and rebuilding them.

It was a bit of a mad panic to make a dam around them though.
