GAAAAAHHH
We've got one person leaving work today and it's my birthday on Sunday. We had a team meeting this week where the director gave my manager the impression that we could spend the afternoon in the pub. Turns out one of my colleagues disabused her of this impression, the massive idiot.

I fucking hate Dreamworks' output.
Watch a Shrek sequel back to back with a Pixar offering, and you'll see how cynical, poorly plotted, badly-animated and utterly devoid of charm it is in comparison.

They get it right every now and then
Enjoyed How to Train Your Dragon and Mega-Mind (also Antz is a great film anyway, strangely dark) but it's usually a load of pop-culture references tied together by plucky misfits.
Pixar films are stories. Damn good stories.

Is that the bizarre Horne and Corden show?
I tried watching the first ep of that when it was first shown. I didn't even smile. And from what I could see, even the studio audience had to force the laughter.
