quick and dirty, wanted to one of Elizabeth I knighting Mike Jagger but couldn't find a good source pic

is truly shite, yet Kerry prefers it to the first one.

The soundtrack is by Queen, and thus wrong. You can see the wires holding Christophe Lambert up during the finale. You could eat alphabet soup and shit a better script.

I am no longer listening to you.
I know it is your opinion and to that you are entitled, but let me say this.
You are wrong.

they created their own niche in Pop History. A lot of their music is very well crafted and respected by people in all walks of life. Therefore drivel is a bit harsh.
But pray tell us who you think are better so we may better understand your angst...

the phasing on the phrase 'dynamite with a laser beam' is cool

tell us why one of the finest rock bands of our age, performing well crafted melodic songs with educated and odd lyrics constitute "drivel" in your eyes /bee in bonnet now

"well crafted melodic songs with educated lyrics" as though it were a good thing. Just because you're technically proficient and have spent umpteen thousand quid on your costumes, stage show, fancy guitars etc doesn't mean that what you're doing is good, or even worth doing. They're obvious, tedious, lowest-common-denominator bombast of the very worst sort.
And Ben Elton can cock off and all.

i think making well crafted melodic songs with educated lyrics (i dont know any other bands who have lyrics about Khrushchev!) is a good thing for a band to be doing really.
Havent a clue how much they spent on costumes, stage shows or guitars (well, brian may spent pretty much watermelon all...) and frankly i dont care. Musicians make music, and theirs i like (as do an enourmous number of people across the world).
I dont decide which bands are good or bad by looking at their frilly shirts and flying v's.

don't get me wrong, they'd be arse without the costumes, too. It's the little things like putting "there are no synthesisers" on the early albums.

many people probably thought thats what they used. After all, no-one had made that particular sound before from guitars (to my knowledge)

one of the best things about it the music, the plot is simple, but it works well.
And it was the eighties, special effects still weren't that special.

and you saw too much of them
it didn't quite capture the first one's darkness and hint of a creature.
I went to the premiere of Alien and it scared the watermelon out of me
