# Question,
I have been coming on here for quite some time.
It is without doubt that a few of us will become famous and influencial because of the wit and talent portrayed on this site.

But if you where given a serious chance to change the world for the better. Not via anything stupid like politics, religion, cultist states, Capital gain, Or something even as stupid as a Irrelevant circular. Just the chance to input your own thoughts and knowledge into a idea, to maybe have the least bit of a chance of making a difference, would you take it. Or at least try and aid it, via input. (NON monetary)

If someone had an idea of a second revoluton. (Considering the 60's movement was just a bunch of stoners who thought Peace was a cool idea).

They made alot of stuff happen, Now if a few people with internet influence could spark a small reaction. Maybe a few things could be heard, Equality, Human rights, TOLERANCE.

I know B3TA isn't the Ideal place for this kind of stuff, but look how well badgerbadgerbadger did, if we can get 1 teenth of that publicity we will do alright.

I must stress i am not an intlelligent person, but i figure some of the people on here are, please respond,

All i wanna do is get someone interested in an Idea

# what i think you're wanting
is a war.....
give me time, and a budget, and i will give you a fighting force to be proud of.
(, Mon 9 Feb 2004, 3:48, archived)
# yeah
i know its a bit fucked up, but i am in just one of those world changing moods, not that it will ever EVER happen we are all doomed, nobody will ever commit to ideas like this, but i am still gonna send emails to 100 newspapers worldwide tommorow, and distribute 1000 Hand written circulars in my County tommorow,
(, Mon 9 Feb 2004, 3:51, archived)
# are you, by any chance
a little high?

1000 hand written anythings is a lot..
(, Mon 9 Feb 2004, 3:53, archived)

(, Mon 9 Feb 2004, 3:58, archived)
# well,
i admire your perseverence.
(, Mon 9 Feb 2004, 3:59, archived)
# well
there we go.

good luck!

but seriously surely you would be better getting into some local political group, or if you are still at school some club thing. start small..
(, Mon 9 Feb 2004, 4:00, archived)
# And
be a little more specific. Your goals appear vague to the point of meaninglessness.

# And
buy a printer and a photocopier.
(, Mon 9 Feb 2004, 4:10, archived)
# well.
thats the whole point, my local political group is irrelevant. I am not bassing the whole thing on politics.

Its more 'Everyman' than that. I wanna base it more on the PEACE movement from the 60's than anything else.

I know it is ludicrously far fetched, but the word needs to be started from somewhere. And i would be damned if it is upto the Voter, its a generational thing. But also more than that, The Law will be ready within a week, it will be on Kazaa with 2 weeks, and i predict press coverage within 6 months. But i need acomplices in thoughts and word spreadage. That is why i am calling on the more intelligent than me types (see my grammar sucks). Just try and help, the world really really sucks, even the slightest bit of help towards the spreading of the Tolerism word will be beneficial to atleast 1 person. I just think it would be amazing if B3TA can start something that is non-profital, non-gain, just mildly helpful
(, Mon 9 Feb 2004, 4:11, archived)
# and logic,
and spelling,
but please, whatever it is that you are writing, mail me a copy, will be interested to see.
(, Mon 9 Feb 2004, 4:13, archived)
# yeah eyah
i know the logic isnt right , and god knows about my spelling, but i just have a feeling, just email [email protected]., and i wil send you some info, remember REligion doesnt eve come into it, niether does race, politics, i wanna aim at somthing beyond that, but if a communitee as big as b3ta can contribute collective ideas to something like this, it wud be something amazing

(, Mon 9 Feb 2004, 4:04, archived)
# Well...
It's all a matter of political opinion. A person whom I would consider quite noble might appear idiotic to you. In the US, Dennis Kucinich continually makes strong, clearheaded, well-substantiated statements, but he's way too far to the left for many people to take seriously. The same goes for John McCain, but he's too far to the right for me. It becomes this silly game of deflecting personal opinions rather than focusing on the politician him/herself.
(, Mon 9 Feb 2004, 4:04, archived)
# there are plenty of politicians who are genuinely good people.
placing them all under the same umbrella as Bush and Blair isn't fair.
(, Mon 9 Feb 2004, 4:05, archived)

i fully beleive there are good politicians outh there, but they never get voted into power, all i am trying to say is lets try and make a difference, even if only 20 people decide to contribute to this idea, its still something

i am wasnt expecting a decent responce, that why i stated someone intelligent should contact, [email protected] and get hold of the basic 10 rules. But give me 1 year and TOLERISM, will be known
(, Mon 9 Feb 2004, 4:02, archived)
# TOLERANCE
surely?
(, Mon 9 Feb 2004, 4:04, archived)
# no
i think tolerism has more of a 'movementish' ring to it
(, Mon 9 Feb 2004, 4:05, archived)

Toleranceism would be the closest. and surely by decrying all politicians you aren't being tolerant!

(, Mon 9 Feb 2004, 4:17, archived)
# well
i have read all the responses,

Alot of you think i am not serious.

But all i wanna do is try and get you guys to try and think of ways to get other people to realise that the majority you have connections to give this a shot.
I am not good at grammar at all, spelling, writing or coherant though. But you guys are, that is why i decided on B3ta, its a good mix , you all have connections to other internet communitees, All i ask is that you try and realise that its about time that a major social revolution got sparked via the internet. and its should be one centred towards. Peace, Love, Equality and Tolerism.

Not towards cultist states, money, power, or religion.

In the words of Kevin Smith, "as long as you have a good idea"
(, Mon 9 Feb 2004, 4:32, archived)
# you haven't answered
which county is this mass messaging going on in? you need to be near a seat of power or large populations, but don't go campaigning outside downing street or anything.
(, Mon 9 Feb 2004, 4:35, archived)
# ok
i must stress this has been building up in my mind for at least 10 years, i am english, But i am not basing it a "Country", the main front of the revolution is gonna be via the internet, of course i will get word of mouth to the cause, but this is the first time i have spoke my thoughts to othersm, all i want is Help in the cause,. Trying to get a chance at world peace Via a MASSive internet communitee, thriving off each others ideas of Tolerism is not a bad idea, i just need help in getting it started, Knowledge and know how is all i need. This kind of internet idea should have been thought of sooner
(, Mon 9 Feb 2004, 4:42, archived)
# so you state you are UK
then rapidly backpedal when quizzed! i'm not one to do anything such as this without ore information, which is not very forthcoming!
(, Mon 9 Feb 2004, 4:47, archived)
# ...
the whole reason i started this Diatribe is because i got a National front letter threw my door today, stating the connections between Lord of the rings and there Foul and evil campaign.. Comparing immigrants to Orcs and the like. I just thought if that the fascists can spout drivel like that in the name of pure evil. Why shouldn't good try and get a say, sorry for boring you all, But when you hear enough about Tolerism in the media, to feal contributed to help out with literacy andword spreading skills, please be welcome to help. If you wanna jump the bandwagon and help me with the Forging of the tolerism rules, please email [email protected]
(, Mon 9 Feb 2004, 4:36, archived)
# Let me be the first to help with literacy.
Please, for the love of all that is good and holy, don't call it tolerism. You'll be laughed out of town before you can even get your message (whatever it is) out.

# Revolution
Via photoshop?

That sounds like a plan.

# i think it may be a little unfair to dismiss those young people on the barricades
in Paris, May 1968 as stoners who thought Peace was cool.

Best of luck.
(, Mon 9 Feb 2004, 4:35, archived)
# ...
i did not dismiss them, all i hough is that if they can do all that by word of mouth, we can do so much more via the Internet, (the greatest communication tool of all time), just hope io get some allies

# depends which country you're in
Britain has never had and probably never will have a proper revolution because people are, perhaps unsurprisingly, terribly squeamish about killing policemen.
