My band InfernOtoriuM are amazing. However, we are severly lacking in the publicity stakes. What we are looking for is some animations to go with our songs (from our debut album 'Mantasia'). We have a selection of 13 songs to choose from, and I'm just looking for people to make them for us. I am afraid that we don't have any money to give you lovely people but remeber, if you help us, you are one of us. And when we go uo, you'll come with us.
If you're interested post here, or gimme an E-Mail at [email protected]
Cool dudes.
*Edit = I spelt 'but' wrong*

Get the DSound GTPlayer Lite as a free download once you have registered it. Latency is dependent on you soundcard ASIO of course.

I thought it only was possible to use it in realtime using Mac OSX!?

I have had great success with a PC/Cubase/SoundBlaster LIVE with low latency drivers.

with a SEK'D Prodif 96 on a Pentium 266 Mhz.
The card offers direct monitoring. Not all cards do. What is your soundcard?

I'll hunt down the alternative drivers that are fixed to 48 KHz and offer low latency down to 5 milliseconds.

and a decent ASIO soundcard will do the job. I personally didn't have much luck with the (ancient) version of VST I had before, but that was probably due to the previous soundcard. I know at least one person who uses a version of VST32 in real time.

that I had some hadware problems, but I don't use it much and haven't spent much time dealing with it.

By the way I quite liked the song about robots.

I believe that was in use a few years ago by a band called Lawnmower Deth.

you could make a webpage where we could hear the music and see the animations people have sent in.
Then it might make next week's newsletter if you asked nicely. Then you'd have loads.
Theoretically.
In thoery.

That is a good plan. But no-one has done any animations yet. Anyone willing to get the ball rolling?

When it comes to doing things with image stuff on computers. And that would take ages would it not?
I'm the guitarist (covered in blue + green face-paint) and I would really love anyone that would do one for us.
More songs are currently being uploaded so, keep checking back.

Draw an individual picture for each frame? then mash them together in an animation package?
Man, i would love to but my father has me on "Restricted Access" mode, so i cannot install such animating software.
