Blue man
I made a little Flash animation for... err... no real reason other than to do some keyframe stuff.

Go blue man
That's bloody great
Add some sound, and make it 20 minutes long. :D

Nah,
there are already far too many of those stickman fight things, I reckon he could do something else, his animation skillz (mad ones) are great.

Thanks a lot :)
and that's true about there being lots of fighting stickmen. Anyway, it's my first (well technically second) attempt so I thought they'd be easiest to start with.

woo to that
excellent stuff pixel-art done vector style. It must have taken you an absolutely age to do?

woo yay
It took me
a month or so but I wasn't working on it constantly. It was only at the end that I worked out you don't need to draw every single frame.

Yes Shape motion could have taken care of some of the
less complicated movements and with Shape hints as well it can prevent that broken vector effect that Flash is famous for.
In a short while perhaps tonight or tommorrow I will post my first full flash game. I'm in the process of putting the finishing touches together - preloader, credits etc. so be warned Mad Maiden will crush your feeble world!

I tried shape motion before
but the random flipping of the shapes drove me insane so I gave up. I like the look of hand-drawn stuff now anyway.
Shape hints...?

Shape hints...?
Shape hints allow you to control the way the shape morphs
Modify... Shape... Add Shape Hint (Ctrl+Shift+H) this puts a hint on the stage on your first frame which you can move into position and it's associate hint will appear on the last frame which you also position and Flash will follow the hints rather than do it's own stuff.
