I was wondering about that..
The main witness claimed that the guy sprinted onto the train hotly pursued by SO19, when it turns out he got on quite calmly and was only acosted when the train started moving.. what was that all about?

And you'd have thought that
at least one of the supposedly trained surveillance officers might have mentioned that he wasn't wearing a padded jacket, didn't vault the barrier and wasn't running away when they shot him...
Apart from that - obviously no cover-up.

Eyewitnesses almost certainly were describing seeing the SO19 guys running in to the station (and grappling a fellow officer if you read the transcripts).
i've got cops in the family. the most unreliable evidence in the world is eyewitness testimony -- people are horrid at truthfully relating what they've seen and heard. some are liars, some are mistaken, but almost all are utterly wrong.
