i recently activated those 'hot corner whatsits' on my mac
and i'm actually finding it more annoying than useful. But then my mouse broke and I am back to using the touchpad again.
i don't hit esc. unless i'm trying to break my mac.
but then I once crashed a whole PC system that was rendering a 2hr movie overnight by unplugging a device. Blue screen of death. On a mac you'd just get a slight telling off.

Nope
Click the actual blue scroll bar, it'll cause the gif to pause until you release.

no
on safari, at least, if you click on the scroll bar button the animation stops.
this is great as it's like using a "next frame" button.

"I'm a mac, I don't get viruses!"
Perhaps because 99% of pcs run windows? So virus writers don't bother making osx versions?
